Sayuri was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful clean and spacious enviroment. Close to the botanical gardens and downtown via the cable car. Love the area. Great comms from Martin. Lovely old place with lots of charm. Spacious. Beds were super comfort, with great pillows & nice linen. Perfect for us as a 9-10 minute walk to our sports event. Supermarket & local shops close by.

The property is very central to the main street with restaurants and activities, only a short walk and was very close to brewtown which was great for us as I had an event there. The host is very responsive and accommodating, we will definitely be checking availability here next time we are in the area.

George’s place is stunning – peaceful, private, and beautifully set up with everything you could possibly need. The garden is huge, and the remote location makes it the perfect spot to switch off and unwind. George’s hospitality was top-notch. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay here. The house is lovely and has great views over the water. We had our own car and access to all parts of Wellington was easy. We’re quite a bit fitter for the walk up the stairs each day, but the cable car access is great also.

We really enjoyed this stay at Penny's with relaxing sea views, sunny kitchen and comfy beds. Located close to many suburbs and easy access to CBD (Te Papa, Botanical Garden and Zealandia. A wonderful stay.

Lovely little place. Viv is a great communicator and was generous with supplies and arrivals/departure times. Totally adequate as a base for us to stay while attending some training nearby.

What a perfect spot. So central yet quiet and beautifully fitted out. The little touches like bathrobes, marshmallows for the hot chocolate and a bikkie for a cuppa were lovely. The added discovery of a cool whiskey bar downstairs (not that you would have known!) was a treat. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Cashmere Retreat. The apartment was clean, quiet, and very well set up - comfy beds, fast Wi-Fi, and a thoughtful starter breakfast that made settling in easy. The location was perfect: close to cafes and train stations, and just a short drive into the city. It was a cozy space to unwind after full days exploring Wellington, and the extra touches like Netflix, good heating, and on-site parking were much appreciated. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located base.

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

The room was clean and clean as pictured. There were also many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it convenient.I recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Gile's place in Wellington. Everything was perfectly clean and well provisioned. The location is super, walkable to all shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Gile is very responsive and a true gem of a host. Do not hesitate to book this place, it is an Airbnb 5+ stay!

The Te Aro area has a lively, safe vibe, is minutes walk away but doesn’t impact the tranquility of the property. City is walkable for those reasonably mobile, alternative bus are 150m away, although the approach from the main road is up a steep hill. The place itself is comfortable, cosy, characterful and had great provisions (fresh bread, fruit, homemade jams). Fiona/Ross were helpful and responsive through the stay. Zealandia (highly recommended) is 45 min walk/10 minute bus ride away.

Great apartment tucked away in the thick of it all — easy walking distance from Te Papa museum and the waterfront, easy Uber rides to Wētā Workshop and the airport, easy access to loads of restaurants and bars on Cuba Street. We had less than 48 hours in Wellington but this stylish place helped us make the most of it.

This home’s 180+ degree views encompass a wide sailboard and surfers beach, Wellington airport’s final-approach flight path (which is quiet) and the mouth of Wellington Harbor. Therefore it is fun, fascinating and fulfilling.

Jan is a most kind, caring, and thoughtful host. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of her guests. She is industrious and proactive day and night providing a first class base for our exploration of Wellington. Can't recommend her place more highly!

Lovely host with a neat private location. There is everything you need for a relaxing a homely stay. The driveway is steep, but if I can get a 6 tonne truck up there, then I think you’ll be fine! Highly recommended.

A very quiet place to stay, very private and beautifully clean. An easy walk to the beach and cafés and restaurants. Christine’s communication was spot on and Bill gave us a warm welcome and good introduction to our room.

We loved our stay in Howard and Joan's beautiful place and were made to feel very much at home. Loved the plush bath robes, outdoor area and also that breakfast was included in the price. It was a perfect base for our weekend in Wellington.
