Steen Home: Small charming farmhouse

We had a very nice stay at Noémie's. Thanks to the instructions we had received in advance, we found it easily. The cottage is located along a small road (kind of country road) where you can just pass with a large car. The location is wonderfully quiet with a beautiful garden. Everything is present: a cozy sitting area with TV, a very spacious kitchen equipped with all comforts (oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ...), very pleasant bathroom with bath and shower, double sink. The cottage was clean and everything matched the photos and description. Noémie was also always easily available for questions. In the cottage, there are also instructions and tips about the area. The space upstairs is very nicely done, but you have to be careful of the sloping side in the upstairs bedroom. For us, the beds were a bit narrow, but you often have that in France. The only thing we missed was a small towel, there were 4 large towels. We will be happy to come back.

Very spacious house where we immediately felt at home. We enjoyed the silence and the comfort. Watou also has everything you need within walking distance. Very nice, quiet area. Host Sofie was easily accessible and was very flexible for us. We have enjoyed it!

A great place for a weekend away with friends. Everything on site (bed linen, bathroom linen...) for one less thing to worry about during preparation, even kitchen essentials. Warm spacious cottage. The stove in the living room is really a great point for a cozy evening.

A modern kitchen features a large wooden island with an integrated sink and a small potted plant on top. Stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove and refrigerator, are visible, along with open shelving displaying various kitchen items. Warm lighting creates a welcoming ambiance.

We had a great time in a great, very clean, bright, pleasant and well-decorated accommodation. The large bay window of the living room is super nice and has an unobstructed view of the countryside. The kids loved watching the rabbits run in the large grounds. Super well-equipped accommodation: lots of kitchen accessories (very good oven), beds made on arrival, towels available. For the baby, it's great: a travel crib with small sheets and a small baby bathtub. We really enjoyed the raised terrace that allows you to enjoy the outdoors while having a view of the children playing in the very large enclosed garden. Great location, close to downtown and shops. On the outing side, we went for a trip to Belgium and visited a very nice museum on hop culture and the history of beer. Cécile is a great host, very kind and welcoming. In short, we already want to go back!

Beautiful house, quiet but close to the centre of town and all amenities. The house was lovely and warm we would definitely book again. Stairs to first floor are quite steep and the tread depth narrow which might be an issue for young children or the elderly.
