Danyfan Cottage

LauraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cottage was a great location for the May half term break. Myself, husband, 13 year old son and dog felt very at home in the cottage. Great location for anyone wanting to walk Pen Y Fan! Everything we needed was available at the cottage which was great. We didn’t need to contact Emma but knew she was available by message if needed which was reassuring. Great stay!

Suzanne and Mark were very friendly, gave us a small booklet containing all the local go to's. Being greeted by their 2 dogs at the gates was always a warm welcoming. The welcome package was a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend.

Brecon Beacons Getaway for Two

CharlotteRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

Barn Conversion set in rural stables.

MaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A fabulous stay! Great beds, so we could spread out. Loads of space. Big, deep bath in bathroom upstairs and walk-in shower room downstairs with lots of soaps, shampoo etc and all cleaning materials needed. New dishwasher and washing machine. Comfy sofas and smart tv. Bedrooms so peaceful, calm and comfy. Safe, secure parking. Big fridge with added freezer compartment at the top. Sunny conservatory and dark skies balcony upstairs. Quiet, lovely surroundings, we met Antonia, her lovely mum and dad, brother and daughter and Dotty the dog, as well as all the 🐎 horses! Lots of green spaces to roam around the farm. We went to Llangorse, Talybont, Aberavon to swim, Brecon town and up to the visitor centre to do the Trig walk. We also went to Talgarth Mill (fab!) and the Strand restaurant for lunch (highly recommended!!), as well as Treberfydd House and Trecastle Manor, Landeilo and Llandovery. We even managed a visit into the ‘valleys’ to trace family roots. Thanks for letting us come early

Idyllic, refurbished character barn. Sleeps 2.

OliverRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Really enjoyed our weekend stay. The location is wonderful and the views from the barn and its surroundings are beautiful. Well located for day trips either into the mountains or visiting the local towns. The place itself was very comfortable, light, airy and spacious. Well didn’t get to sit outside by there were ample places to spend time or eat a meal outside in fine weather. Thank you Vera for a great stay!

Very clean, comfortable, lovely space. Much bigger than I was expecting! The first air BnB we’ve stayed in where I want to make a special mention about the beds. They were amazingly comfortable. I struggle to sleep usually in beds that aren’t my own but these beds were spot on. Easy check in and parking space was a great plus point.

Penarth Family Home - Gorgeous views of Cardiff...

MatthewRating, 5 stars27 months ago
I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.
A scenic view captures the lush, rolling hills of the countryside surrounding Berry Wood Barn. A picturesque barn sits amidst green meadows, with distant mountains creating a dramatic backdrop under a clear blue sky, inviting outdoor exploration.

Berry Wood Barn

FrankRating, 5 stars23 months ago
This clever barn conversion is quite thoughtfully designed and very comfortable inside and out. The professional level of decoration found a wonderful balance of beauty and homeyness; everything was lovely in the most welcoming way. There was lots of space for our family to spread out, and the beds and linens were excellent. As lovely as the house is, the best part by far is the view. It was absolutely stunning, rain or shine! We found ourselves drawn outside at all hours of the day to enjoy the sights and sounds around us. Just as described, there were places in the house where the wifi was spotty, and the track up through the neighboring farm to the house might be a challenge for some cars. As we had read about the property, we were not surprised and spent an absolutely wonderful week there! There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores 10-15 minutes away in Abergavenny when we could tear ourselves away from this slice of paradise.

Luxury Villa- Free secure parking- walk to town

KirstyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
No complaints at all, the house is lovely and felt like a home from home. Well catered for all including a high chair and stair gate if required. Very clean, comfy beds and a generally very spacious house, great for bigger groups. A 20 minute walk to the centre so easily accessible, parking at the back was secured by the gates. A nice big garden if you’ve got kids with you. Would definitely book again if we come to Cardiff. Thanks!
