Chalet vacation rentals in Ponta do Sol

My partner and I stayed for 5 days and we absolutely loved it. Zhanna was the best host and was absolutely lovely. She was helpful yet gave us lots of space and privacy! We had a slight issue with the front door and it was fixed straight away upon us reporting it by her husband. We loved the apartment and it was spotless. Will definitely return, thank you to you both for making our stay so easy and memorable. 🩷

Chalet Pico das Pedras has a very homely atmosphere. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of wood for the fire which both warmed the house nicely and made it very cosy. Fransisco communicated well, was friendly and responsive. We had a little issue with the heat pump not working, Fransisco offered additional heaters, but once we got the hang of the wood burner we didn’t need anything else. We would definitely recommend. Beautiful!! We wanted some peace and quiet and nature and that is of course provided here. It looked exactly like the pictures, so super cozy. We were there in April and caught some bad weather, which is why we immediately made use of the fireplace. He also reinforced the cozy vibe (it was really necessary, because it was already quite fresh). Would come back again and again. 10/10 <3

A very cozy cottage and the pool table makes for fun. Hikes are also easily accessible from there. We felt very comfortable.

We have a pleasure to stay in this wonderful house host by Odilia. The accommodation was as described. It was perfect for our week in Madeira. We had all the comforts to feel at home, the house is well equipped, there is parking, a BBQ and a small yard. I also want to note that I haven't seen such clean apartments in a long time, was a pleasure to stay there. Thanks Odilia for a nice work!

Celina is absolutely adorable ! She welcomed us with wine from Madeira and home made lemon cake made from lemons grown in her garden. The view from the house is stunning. I highly recommend taking a walk up the path behind the house for a beautiful sunset view.

This was our first visit to Madeira so we didn’t know what to expect. This home is comfortable and has a lovely balcony looking right over the ocean. The bed and pillows were comfortable , and the bathroom is very spacious. The kitchen is well stocked, and our hosts were very kind in leaving fresh fruit from their garden and sweets in the morning for us. The parking, like almost all parking in Madeira, was on the street a short distance from the home. The location is about 15 minutes from Funchal, and the access to the main highway is five minutes away or less. One thing to consider: during most of our visit it was cool at night and we slept with the sliding doors closed. On our last night, however, it was warm and we kept the doors open a little too long and mosquitoes came in. After closing the doors the room was rather warm and as there are no other windows there was no ventilation. I’m not sure what a visit during the warmer summer months would feel like.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The setting is incredibly tranquil, with a gorgeous garden and endless views. Everything was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully arranged—beautiful décor. Eugénia is a wonderful hostess and she was very helpful with weather forecasts and giving us suggestions for places to see and things to do. I will forever be inspired by her home and garden.
