This is a great place to vacation whether you prefer the private sandy beach, the A/C inside complete with Smart TV cable and Wifi, or the hottub! Sip a drink at the bar while watching the game or use the grill on the deck but be sure to use the built in sound system to play your music throughout the house and deck.

This private, upstairs unit in two unit cabin, nestled in the trees on 6/10th of an acre, has something for everyone, including 100 feet of semi-private lakefront on Tripp Lake. Easy for a weekend getaway from Boston, relax and enjoy our canoes, kayak and SUP, ideal spot for swimming and end the day with a nice campfire. We also have games (indoor and out). No TV, so relax and enjoy the silence (although there is wi-fi and cell phone service so feel free to connect your own devices).

This listing was previously for one bedroom in a shared space with the host. The space has now been updated and is entirely private for guests, offering exclusive access to the first floor, including the bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, workspace, and two porches. The host resides in the lower level, which cannot access the guest space. The house is 15 minutes from Bates College, Route 95, Lost Valley Ski Area & Lake Auburn. Guests have right of way access to Taylor Pond

For swimming, FREE docking for your boat to fish, water ski or just cruise in Thompson lake. 14 miles one of Maines cleanest lakes. 6 Bicycles, 2- kayaks, 2-16 ft canoes, a 14 ft rowboat, and a paddle boat, fishing gear, firewood available for guest at no charge for fire pit. Propane and charcoal barbeques available at cottage. THERE IS NO WIFI.
