Kim’s place is perfect if you love being nestled in the greenery and bush. The background sound of the lovely waterfall is such a peaceful way to fall asleep. Very quirky and fun.

We really enjoyed our stay at Natasha's place. It is a beautiful house and had everything we needed. When the weather wasn't that good, we just hopped in the spa and sauna. The deck is big and a great dining place, the bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of room to lounge around the house. There is also lots of space in the backyard. The place was very clean and tidy and located in a quiet area, so it's a good place to relax. Matakana and the beaches are super close. Will definitely come back here!

This place was a wee piece of paradise, we loved it here. Alana went over and above with flowers and chocolate and the house was clean and homely. Great place for a family and neat that it is dog friendly too. The nature out the back was beautiful, loved seeing the native birds and had a real treat with fiejoas while there. I would highly recommend staying here.

Location! Location! Location! If you are looking for a place to stay in Matakana, then this is the place. Everything is in a short walking distance, around 300m to the Matakana Village Farmers Market and most restaurants. Elva is a lovely and welcoming host, the studio is clean, modern and quiet. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

The little guest house was a perfect base option for the two of us for a few days getaway to explore Matakana and the surrounding area. It was quiet and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen provided everything we needed for our stay. Shower pressure was fabulous! Vanessa was a great hostess, greeting us on arrival and ensuring we had everything we needed for our comfort.

Great stay - we just needed somewhere to sleep after we attended an event nearby. Comfortable bed (that I slept in) nice linen. We didn’t spend much time in the property but rooms and bedrooms are a nice size. Would recommend.

My friend and I stayed at Miranda’s cabin over a girl’s weekend as we planned on attending the album tour for Ladi6 hosted by the Sawmill cafe in Leigh. The cabin was pristine, comfortable and surrounded by beautiful native bush. We woke up to birds chirping and were made to feel extra welcome by their very friendly and adorable dog. It is truly a great location and well equipped.

Very much appreciated Janine’s quick response as we were very late in booking. The studio was comfortable and clean. I was so happy to have a few snacks in the refrigerator ready for us. So unexpected and welcoming.

Perfect place to stay in Matakana for a couple of nights. Location is perfect, great to walk just a few minutes to the village for cafes, restaurants and movies etc. Beautifully presented, with comfortable bed and great shower. Highly recommend.
