Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Poceirão e Marateca

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Great stay in a nicely designed apartment with comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace is a very nice addition where we could catch some sun and have breakfast as the place itself is a bit dark but probably offers a cool retreat on hot summer days. The narrow staircase to the 2nd floor (bedroom) might be a challenge for people who are not very mobile or for carrying bigger luggage. All in all we had a great time at La Quinta and would highly recommed it for exploring the area as it is close to the train station.

Candida let us in, explained about the house, things to see and do in the area, including restaurants, the local mini market and butcher shop, beaches and other interest points. she gave us some helpful tips. the house is very suitable for young children. there are games for children in the house, plastic plates and cups. our 3&5 year olds really liked it. it is a short drive from the marina(less than 10 minutes) and from the beaches on the western coast.

Really spacious property on 4 floors with sea view from the top floor. Only few minutes walk to beach, beach bars, shops and restaurants. Yun was extremely helpful and responded very quickly.

Cris was so kind and helpful, sharing names of local places to eat or shop. We followed her suggestions and had a tasty drink down by the seaside. The place was so lovely and very clean, we had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay again!

The stay went very well, the owner Maria is very friendly and helpful. The house has a very good view and it was very nice to be able to take our dog. The house was clean and everything was available.

I loved it! The apartment is excellent, perfect location, the host João is very helpful and quick to respond. I was very happy with the stay.

Overall stay was excellent!! It’s clear that the host pays attention to detail and is committed to her guests enjoyable stay. We did lots of cooking and they even had a garlic press (a good one!!). This Airbnb was exactly what my group was looking for! The house looked just like the photos, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Upon check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Rudy’s mother, Sylvie, who kindly introduced us to the space. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely additions, and having a walkable grocery store nearby was super convenient. Rudy and Sylvie were very responsive and made us feel truly welcome. We would absolutely stay here again—thanks for a wonderful experience!

A perfect escape! What an amazing discovery! From the moment we arrived, we felt the peace and tranquility we were looking for. The place is a true oasis of serenity, ideal for those who need to escape the hectic pace of the city. Our two pets also loved the garden and the ample space for running and playing! The accommodation was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated - simple yet elegant. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals without any major problems. The swimming pool was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Crystal clear water at perfect temperature, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and lush vegetation! The hosts were extremely attentive, welcomed us with great friendliness and were always available when we needed them, but completely respecting our privacy. We're already planning our next visit. This place has earned a special place in our hearts!

We had a wonderful say! Our toddler LOVED this place. We loved how close we were to everything, including the bus which was an easy ride wherever you wanted to get in Lisbon. What really stood out was how helpful and responsive Afonso was when I left my wedding rings behind. He ensured it go back to me and I could not be more grateful.

A magical place, breathtaking views, we loved our stay. A unique experience!!! The cabin is very well-equipped and very comfortable. Sophie was kind enough to provide us with baby equipment that contributed to the quality of our stay. We had a breakdown with our rental car, Sophie was very helpful, very responsive, a huge thank you to her. We highly recommend!!!!!!!

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

We have stayed in Vladimir’s apartment two years in a row. In our view, the apartment is excellent and Vladimir js a fantastic host.

Virginia communicated nicely. Her daughter Marta greeted us very nicely and was very helpful. The property was charming and very rustic. The garden and pool area were surprisingly spacious and characterful

I truly enhoyed my stay at Paulho's place. It is cozy, comfortable, well situated and most important of all I felt safe. It's centrally located with all amenities and transport literally around the corner, and pleasant neighbors. Definitely recommend it highly!

Absolute peace! We had three wonderful days with Sonia with the best sunsets. Rarely had such a clean kitchen. Very nice family, children are a bit older and therefore very quiet. Super fast response and always available. We will be back :-)

Carlos was very kind and helpful. His apartment is walkable to cafes and restaurants and has parking (a rare find in Sintra). It is just as pictured with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen. It felt very comfortable and gave plenty of space for our entire party. Overall, it was a great stay.

Very nice spacious apartment, we only stayed one night but slept very well, the bedding is comfortable and the noise from the planes is not disturbing. The accommodation is a little out of the way, but by bus or tram you are in the center in 30-40 min!

Mathieu and Carlota are gracious and accommodating hosts with a beautiful family. The house is in a quiet village very close to Cascais and Guincho beach. Easy to find and park. The pool is fantastic - deep enough for jumping and great fun for kids. The whole family was very welcoming and friendly and we felt very at home. Thank you all!

We had a very nice time. Susana is a super host, very friendly and always attentive to our needs during the stay. Her house is beautiful, the place is amazing. We really enjoyed the pool, fed the mini goats and had delicious roasted sardines for dinner. Really, it's really nice. We hope to return soon.

It exceeded my expectations. The chalet is exactly as described and the outside area is much better in person. Mariana and Daniel are super attentive and proactive. It quickly helped me close some of the fence points that my smaller dog could pass through. They recommend great restaurants and what to explore in the surrounding areas. I really felt at home. I hope to come back more often. Thank you :)
