Cottage vacation rentals in Pocé-les-Bois

We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

Nicky was a very flexible and accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble. She provided a lovely welcome pack to get you started after a long trip. During our stay was very helpful with local knowledge, even helping with my French 😊 Couldn’t have asked for a better break away for peace and quiet in a tranquil location with fantastic views. We will miss our lovely walks down the lane. Will definitely return. A perfect little gem. Thank you.

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay, the house was large and spacious. Axel was welcoming and spoke good English. The location was lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed the pool.

We spent two days at the accommodation, it was great, the accommodation and its surroundings are beautiful!! Perfect for disconnecting for a weekend, we would stay there again, everything was perfect and Nathalie is very accommodating and very responsive to messages, I can only recommend it! at its best 👌

Our stay was really good and comfortable. The directions Beatrice gave us were helpful and on point, and the house itself was comfy and clean. I recommend staying at the petit courtoux wholeheartedly!

We had such an amazing week at Julie's Gite. As everyone said, Julie is such a super host and she was always trying to ensure everything was as we wanted and expected. She knows so many things around the area and helped us to book an activity and recommended places to visit. We were with our 2 kids and grandparents. They all had a lovely time at the games room and in the pool and the massive trampoline!! ( The kids loved jumping up and down all day.) The rooms were so clean!(I am picky about cleanliness but this Gite had no dust, not even under the beds!) Probably, this place is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. The kitchen had everything we needed and Julie asked us if we needed more pans, plates etc etc. The nearest supermarket has got everything you need . (fresh fish counter, meat counter as well). We had a day trip to Mont Saint Michelle , Laval, kayaking in Gorron. Our favorite bakery was Boulangerie Chérel at Gorron.Thank you Julie for all of your hospitality.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

Great weekend at Ludovic's cottage. It is really equipped for 12 people which is very appreciated. The quiet and peaceful environment allows for total disconnection. And the indoor pool is perfect for capricious weather. A property to remember. Thank You

Lovely village, beautiful river and miles of walking or cycling along it. The Presbytery is a beautiful old building and gardens right by the river and guinguette.

Fabulous place full of French rustic charm. Spacious accommodation for my family of five and very comfortable. Watching the antics of the chickens roaming around outside our cottage was very entertaining. This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. We will be back.

A beautiful property in a beautiful and peaceful location. The cottage had absolutely everything we needed and some lovely extra touches. The property is deceptively spacious and is immaculate. The beautiful garden is private and contains a lovely selection of garden furniture. Tricia met us on arrival and both she and Mark were on-hand if required. We would highly recommend.

An excellent stay away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The house had all the amenities needed to make a comfortable stay and the sunroom was a real feature. Could be a little difficult to find the first time, but communications were excellent. Certainly somewhere we will be returning to in the future.

This place was great, and we felt very comfortable there. We’ll definitely come back to explore other places in the area.

What a find! A stunning residence in the most beautiful area, with a delightful host close by if needed. So much to see and do. An area we didn’t know terribly well, which has now become a firm favourite; Not at all touristy, lovely friendly locals, great places to eat, lots of Chateaux to visit, and natural water sports close by, vineyards and caves for tastings, the area is also an equestrians dream with Le Lion d’Angers and Saumur within easy driving distance. Will definitely be back, we’ve only scratched the surface this week! Thank you Chantal

Great rental. Wonderful welcome with a wide smile. Melanie and Steeve are lovely. Lover of calm, this rental is for you. Peche pond, dining room with ping pong,. X box, billiards, large above ground pool. What a joy in the morning to be awakened by the ducks and chickens. In addition, the rental is very well equipped, comfortable.
