Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Playas del Coco

There is definitely noise from neighboring bars, but we were able to sleep through it. Location was perfect and the pool was never busy. Worked perfect for our group of 6.

Excellent accommodation! Lucas was very good from the first moment, he was attentive to all inquiries, in addition to providing us with excellent recommendations for shopping, beaches and more. Lucas has a surf shop, ideal for surfers or those who want to learn. The location is amazing Very close to downtown and beach and retired enough for a good rest. We also had beach heladerita, chairs and snorkel available, and were able to use the washing machine without a problem. We will definitely be back and will be recommending the place to our friends and family. PURA VIDA!!

Ricardos place was amazing. The pool area was top notch and we spontaneously decided to spend the whole day there. The area is very spacious, you can see iguanas running around in front of your door, hear howling monkeys (maybe even see one if you're lucky). Great nature area, a very cozy home, a kitchen with everything that we needed and a gas grill for bbq on top of all that. Can really recommend Ricardo's place if you're looking to be very close to Tamarindo centre (4 min drive) but still have your private little retreat. Will definitely come by again if we ever visit Costa Rica again!

The place is beautiful, private, quite, just like the pictures, Vannesa and Audrey were excellent hosts, they were always attentive to anything we needed and very kind.

Manfred is a great host. He was always helpful and prompt to reply. The house and pool area were very beautiful. The area is quiet, private and walkable to the beach and restaurants. The beach is spectacular - hardly any people and great sunsets. I would definitely like to return.

Excellent service and many details like complimentary fruit, water, coffee ,soaps and shampoo. Another plus is that they had containers to store things in the cooler apart from the beach towels and the villa. A very nice place super clean. In addition to excellent communication with the coordinators. And very friendly.

Jake’s place was great ! Comfortable beds and beach was literally right outside the back slider. Location was close enough to Tamarindo yet far enough away to be peaceful away from the hustle.

Our family of 4 (2 parents and 2 teens) spent a week at Benton's place and loved every second. The home is gorgeous and exceptionally well stocked. The beds are very comfortable (something that is very important to us) and the spaces are pleasant. The view is second to none! If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of your own life or busy tourist locations to recharge, this place is it. Benton was incredibly helpful, friendly and responsive. He booked a fantastic chef for us for 3 meals (some of the best meals we had while in the area) and a wonderful snorkeling adventure. He also gave us great recommendations on the best grocery stores and restaurants in the area. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul and what a thoughtful and kind host Benton is. You won't be disappointed with a stay here.

The place is nice, you feel very safe being there. Very comfortable and the host is very friendly and quick to respond. Close to several beaches.

Our babymoon stay at casa Julia was absolutely fabulous. Very clean, and the amenities were amazing. You cannot beat the sunsets in the pool or early morning coffee on the deck. Rodrigo was beyond helpful with arranging transportation for us as it is a very small town so having your own car is preferred but he helped us to and from town and was an incredible host recommending some amazing food spots. We will most definitely be returning to Costa Rica and coming back to Casa Julia. Thanks again Rodrigo for the incredible trip

We had a lovely time. Listen to the birds in the morning while drinking coffee on the terrace, it was wonderful. But it's true that at night, it's quite noisy with trucks passing by not far away. It's 30 minutes to the beach so it's great. The garden was really very beautiful.

Casa Bosque will forever be in our happy memories! My family had such an incredible stay here. The hosts, Forest and Andrea, were so attentive to our questions or needs. She even made us sourdough bread one morning! They were respectful of our space and felt genuinely glad we were enjoying ourselves. They took our families sunset pics the last night. It was great getting to know them! The home is picturesque and has everything you need to enjoy Playa Negra. The beautiful pool overlooked the ocean and tropical landscape. It was refreshing to lounge in during the heat of the day. The kitchen had every amenity we needed to fix coffee, breakfast, and lunch. We chose to try restaurants in the area for dinners each night. Howler monkeys delighted us a couple of days when we could see the family hopping through the trees. The beach out front was a dream to walk out to from your own private entrance. We will definitely be putting this home on our “go back to” list. We enjoyed every minute!!

We loved staying here. The pool was cool, clean, shaded and very refreshing. Adjacent to the pool was T he common area with grill and outdoor dining which was a great place to grill our fresh caught tuna. It’s an easy walk to Playa Grande beaches, and just a bit further to Playa Ventana, a gorgeous, quiet beach with very few people. The Villa was spacious and had very comfy beds, excellent appliances and everything you needed to cook your meals. We also enjoyed the covered porch sitting area. Host was accessible, friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach house. it felt very safe and secure. It's right on a black sand beach. Elias was great with communication and was very kind. We prepared most of our meals here. It's well stocked. Although there was no salt, pepper or oil, so bring your own. It was quiet and we appreciated the AC in each room. The kids loved the pool.

Yes, the cost was higher due to peak season, but honestly, the view alone made it worth every penny!

Lis's accommodation is in excellent condition just for a family trip, the location is excellent close to many beautiful beaches, we hope to return. My daughter's comment: I love the villa the pool was delicious very clean and the house is beautiful, I really liked that it was in front of the Potrero beach. I loved the terrace which has everything very nice. 😊🏖️

A peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo. Great location, walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping, and most importantly, coffee! I enjoyed my stay here and the WIFI made it easy for me to spend a week as a digital nomad. There is a grocery store nearby so I could stock up on water and food. I loved the option to cook breakfast and dinners when I didn't feel like going out. I highly recommend this place for solo travelers as it is secure and clean. Gracias!

Fantastic location! Hazel’s apartment is close to all the major attractions and walking distance to the beach. It made exploring Tamarindo so convenient. The apartment is located on a secondary road, so it's very quiet. The pool was great

The unit was clean and comfortable. The pool was a highlight—it was clean, warm, and big enough to accommodate different groups from other condos in the complex. We loved the shade trees, which kept the patio cool, and the outdoor seating/dining area with views of the pool. We had monkeys thundering across our roof early one morning, but we thought that was neat. I was worried without central AC we would be too hot, but the two bedroom window units kept us comfortable. Stephanie was friendly and very responsive. The area was on the expensive side but we felt safe and there was a lot to do. Overall this was our favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica!

Ilya was super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate for check-in and showed us around the unit and property. Everything was clean and easy to access. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and a couple min drive into downtown you can find a ton more. The beach is also within walking distance. It’s a calm beach with black sand. Not a lot around there but we had fun with our kids. This place is peaceful and relaxing and has great views of the ocean. Would recommend!

We passed through Tamerindo (awesome area) on our 1st trip to Costa Rica as a family of 5 (kids - 8, 13, 19) and Tushar's place was perfect for our day visit! It was safe, cozy and zen...actually better than the pics! Wish we had more time -- would love to return!
