Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Playacar

We were a group of 3 retired couples that stayed for 30 days at Laura’s place. We loved the area! Gated , safe area, secure property. Walked to beautiful beach , and restaurants, convenience stores. The house was nice and very well stocked. Rooftop was great! The community was very friendly and helpful

This house is perfect. It’s huge. Close to the beach and amazing. Don’t hesitate to book it.

Nos fue excelente, el anfitrión siempre al pendiente de nosotros, contestaba rápido. La casa muy cómoda y sobretodo muy limpia, en orden las cosas. En una privada muy segura, guardias amables en todo momento. La recomiendo al 100%. Nos recibieron con el clima de la sala encendido para una bienvenida confortable, tiene todo lo indispensable para pasar un largo tiempo en Playa del Carmen. Tiendas de conveniencia a dos cuadras, cuenta con piscina compartida. En general excelente, por eso las 5/5.

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

Very clean, nice, upscale house with modern amenities. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, including beach towels. Public beach right around the corner, a 2 minute walk. The kitchen knives were actually sharp, something lacking in prior AirBNBs we've stayed at. Everything worked, coffee maker with filters and even good coffee stocked. Beautiful back deck with pool. We loved everything except for the washer/dryer, which didn't work so well. We let the host know about the washer and he was appreciative of the info saying he'd get the maintenance guys on it. I'd definitely stay again!

Excelente ubicación, buena comunicación por parte del anfitrión, Edson y su papá estuvieron pendiente de nuestra llegada. La casa estaba ordenada y limpia cuando llegamos, la alberca está limpia. Es una buena opción para hospedarse en Playa del Carmen.

Très beau petit condo, super propre, central, près de plein de bons restaurants locaux et de la zone touristique. Vraiment agréable pour un séjour d'une semaine! Je recommande.

Pros: Awesome location. 3 min walk to beach and just far enough from 5th Ave that it’s quiet at night. Great doormen. Bed is super soft (may be problematic if prefer harder beds) and bedroom is dark. Good WiFi but some sporadic issues. Pool up top is nice but small. Neutral: There is “some” noise from the closest bars on 5th Ave, but the bedroom is set back from street inside the building, so with ear plugs I never had any issues (and I’m a freak about sound at night). Cons: Gets lots of afternoon sun, so it cooks inside. Have to pay for electricity, but mine totaled less than 40 pesos/day after running AC for ~75 min/day. Hotter months could be brutal though. Not great for work at home as the chairs aren’t comfortable or ergonomic. Kitchen could use a full set of cooking knives and a wider variety of pots and pans.

Nos quedamos de viernes a viernes en el depa de Anna. Estuve con mis padres y todo funcionó perfectamente! Una semana antes de la llegada recibimos las instrucciones para el check-in y fue lo menos complicado. Todo está muy bien explicado. El departamento está a unos 10 min. a pie de la 5ta Avenida y tal vez unos 20 de la playa y al mismo tiempo estábamos cerca de muchos restaurantes, puestos de tacos, supermercados, cafés. Excelente lugar para quedarse! El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario y lo único que compramos fue comida, todo muy bien! En el depa hay un librito con instrucciones y sugerencias! La alberca es compartida pero la mayor parte que estuvimos, estábamos solos en ella. Me quedaría sin problemas de nuevo. El check-out también fue cero complicado! Tuvimos la posibilidad de conocer a Anna y agradecerle por todas las atenciones! El conteo de uso de electricidad salió todo bien y al seguir las instrucciones recomendadas, no nos pasamos del Límite! Gracias Anna!

Rudolph and his team truly deserve all the glowing reviews—they were incredibly responsive, caring, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From quick answers to great local recommendations, their hospitality was outstanding. The apartment was exactly as pictured—spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t be better: just a short stroll (under 10 minutes!) to a stunning beach and cenote, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunrises. We loved the building’s amenities, especially the rooftop pool and patio (the ultimate oasis!), gym, and coworking space. Parking on the side street was safe and hassle-free. Highly recommend this gem—we’d love to return! Thank you, Rudolph and team, for an amazing experience!

Excelente estancia, el lugar impecable, decoración de la casa hermosa, con amenidades, incluso hasta tenía garrafones de agua, café, azúcar, aceite , todo lo esencial. Anfitrionas increíbles que vinieron a ayudarnos cuando mi hermano se quedó dormido y no nos podía abrir la puerta 😞😞😞 Mensajitos desde el primer hasta el último día, siempre al pendiente de nosotros. À beautiful condo, felt like home. Had a hot water situation but it got fixed right away. Would love to stay here again, and will definitely recommend. Great location, beautiful place :) thanks again for everything

Nuestra estancia en este alojamiento fue excelente. La ubicación es ideal, con fácil acceso a tiendas, restaurantes y transporte, lo que hizo que moverme por la ciudad fuera muy cómodo. Las instalaciones son tal como se muestran en las fotos: modernas, bien equipadas y muy acogedoras, perfectas para descansar después de un día de actividades. Además, destaco la limpieza, impecable en cada rincón, lo que transmite una gran sensación de cuidado y confort. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar y volvería a alojarme aquí.

Izela’s place is great for families with small children. Izela made arrangements to have two Pack N Plays and a baby high chair waiting for us in the unit. The community pool has shallow sections for kids. The beach is just steps from the complex, making it so easy. Lastly, Izela was very responsive to the couple of questions we had during the course of our stay.

Excelente opción de hospedaje. Frecuento Playa del Carmen como destino ésta ha sido la mejor opción. El conjunto está bastante bien ubicado, instalaciones nuevas y limpias. El departamento bastante amplio. ¡Gracias Kelly & Jacque!

El lugar es simplemente maravilloso !!! Y el trato del anfitrión es excelente ! Cumple con todo lo que promete, hasta diría que supera las expectativas. Lo recomiendo 100% Tienen un bar y restaurante dentro del mismo complejo y a solo 5 min en auto hay un Soriana 24/7 . El trato de los guardias y los habitantes fue siempre amable.
