Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we had nothing short of an amazing stay here in Casa Cocles! Daniel was checking on us through the trip to make sure we knew of the local spots and must-visit areas. He also greeted us with some fresh cut fruit to munch which was very refreshing! The location is at a really convenient spot that allowed for worry-less travel between different activities. We ended up visiting the animal rescuer center, countless Puerto Viejo restaurants, Cahuita National Park, BriBri tribe territory, lots of beaches , etc and these all felt very accesible and easy to get to with or without a rental car. Some tours even offer to pick us up exactly at Casa Cocles for free! We were super grateful and happy with our stay, and will definitely be coming back here for future getaways!

The location of the Airbnb is great if you want to be in a quiet place (there is little going on in Punta Uva). The apartment is located directly on the beach (across the street). There are few neighbors who are not always there, everything is Airbnbs. We found the apartment clean, spacious, it had everything we needed. The communication was great, the hosts are very courteous and nice, quick to respond. We would come again!

This is a really special place, felt very lucky to stay. Silvia was super helpful, and recommended things to do and places to eat.

We had a very nice time with our two children at Andrea's. The accommodation was just the right size for us, the location in nature very heavenly and the surroundings quiet with two beaches within walking distance. Excellent cleaning, communication and support from Andrea. Could not have been better.

We came to the jungle villa in 2018. We were so enchanted by this house and the beauty of its surroundings that we knew we would be back again. Came back again for my birthday this year and yes it felt like home!! The people, the FOOD in the local restaurants, and the beauty of this country is amazing! Looking forward to returning someday. Located in a paradisiacal garden where you can watch countless animals. Marise patiently showed us around and showed us a wide variety of animals. The property is located directly on the sea and Marise even provides beach towels. Another plus is the daily housekeeping. We highly recommend the fabulous place and would be happy to come back any time.

It was a great stay. Pretty close to Puerto Viejo center and to the beach, easy to go walking everywhere. Was very clean and the attention from Jerome was amazing.

Sharon is an excellent host, helpful, always attentive to our concerns, providing us with precise directions, the accommodation met our expectations, as shown in the photos, very cozy, well furnished and with the necessary kitchen utensils. As a single suggestion, a railing next to the pool steps would be good for easier access for adults or children if they are part of the guests.

This location is a 3 min. walk up the street to Playa Negra. You can stroll about 10 mins. up the main street to all the shops, restaurants, fruit stands, supermarket, etc. There's a bus stop right up the street, too. Jerson and his wife are very friendly and hospitable. The kitchen was very-well equipped, the a/c gets COLD (which is great in the hot climate), he has a contact for food deliveries, and any little thing you may need, they're right there to help. Oh, and he speaks English & Spanish. I'll be back when I visit the area again. 😊🙌🏾

Thank you for a wonderful stay!! Your space was everything we were wanting. Nice open, clean and a kitchen that had everything you would need to cook some meals. The air conditioning was also very nice to have.

This airbnb is exactly as the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Things to note is that only the lower bedrooms have AC. The upstairs living room was very nice! The house is private, but a lot further out from town so you’ll need transportation to and from as there are not many restaurants nearby. The host, Jorge was always very responsive and helpful. Overall we had such a great stay and can’t wait to be back.

He is very friendly, he is very flexible with the time also we arrived early and he always try to help us Definitely 1000% recommend 👍🏻

Perfect location, the cabin is very close to the sea and the black beach is beautiful. near Puerto Viejo. 20 min walk to go to dinner or breakfast. The day walk along the beach is beautiful. Private accommodation and great for resting.

This is a fantastic place! The house is just magical. Beautiful open design. The location is right on the beach with walkable restaurants and shops. Once you get here, you don’t have to drive the entire time you’re in Puerto Viejo.

It was very nice to share with my family in such a nice place, a few steps from the beach, they allowed us to enter the place early, we made a campfire on the beach, all the comforts in the stay, very safe, great attention. It exceeded my expectations. Would definitely love to come back. Thank you so much.

Happy House is the perfect name for this oasis! Our family was so lucky to get to stay there. The property is large and private. The covered patio ( we call it a California room in California) was amazing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen and living space was a great place for our family to relax after many adventurous days in Costa Rica. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. There were geckos and bugs in the covered patio area but my boys loved that part! The beach is beautiful but there is a rip current right in front of the house but we walked a short distance in both directions and found great swimmable ocean for our kids. It was a great end to our Costa Rican vacation! Thanks Steve for opening up your special space to visitors! Pura Vida!

The house is very beautiful, surrounded by nature. The spaces are spacious and nicely decorated. It’s surrounded by impressively tall trees. In the mornings, you can hear howler monkeys. And just a short walk to the main street, you’ll find many shops and restaurants nearby. Plus, the beach is close too

this place is so beautiful. the location, the quiet street, far enough from town to feel secluded, even though there are neighbors. the beach is beaitoful and quiet as well. we would love to stay here again and we'll be recommending it to friends. David was a pleasure to talk to and was available and quick to respond whenever needed. we only ever rent open air homes so we are used to what comes with it -occasional bugs, occasional issues with water or internet. it's the price you pay for wanting to stay in such a location and to be so close to nature. from the house we saw agoutis, green macaws, toucans, monkies, and a variety of other tropical birds. we enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean, playing in the waves, walking the beach, sitting and listening to the birds, playing games on the giant table, and seeing the area. we always felt safe and again, David was only minutes away and quick to respond.
