Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Playa de Fenals

A very big thank you to Lise and her mother Pilar for their warm hosting 😊 they are adorable, friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, Pilar took the time to explain everything in detail: the functioning of the house, the amenities... and even without speaking Spanish, we managed to understand each other very well, which was very appreciated. The house is conveniently located, only 2 minutes walk from the beach, in a quiet area (at least, in April). It is well equipped, there is nothing missing for a comfortable stay. I am delighted to have met them and would definitely stay again. ☺️☺️

We had a great time in Sylvia's place. It's spacious and the large terrace and garden let us have some relaxing time. The parking just outside the house is convenient. The house is only a 30-40min drive from Barcelona and there are a number of attractions nearby. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Adriana's place for almost two weeks in October and didn't want to leave at the end! 😊 + 1. Great location (coastal hiking trails are fantastically beautiful!) 2. Very pretty garden 3. Quiet neighborhood and privacy 4. Great amenities (from the paella pan to the parasol - everything there) 5. Super communication and helpfulness by hosts - 1. Extremely unpleasant sewer smell in the house, which even the whole incense sticks do not help (according to the hostess, this only occurs with a north wind) 2. Sleeping during the week impossible due to construction noise from the early morning hours (end of the season) 3. Restaurants and activities partly closed due to the season 4. Bathroom (hair in shower) and kitchen (crumbs on refrigerator and in front of microwave) unfortunately not as clean as expected based on the positive reviews. We would have liked a better price-performance ratio. In summer, but probably GREAT! Overall recommended! :

A very relaxing stay, just what we were looking for. It is an ideal place to stay with kids (small wodden house, bicycles, toys everywhere, swimming pool..). Even if you decided not to visit around or move with the car, you wouldn’t get bored. It was clean, and well equipped with all amenities. No noise, only birds singing :) I would def. repeat my stay!!

If you are looking for a memory of a lifetime, this is the Airbnb for you!!! If you are looking for a normal, modern AirBnB keep looking. You will literally be living inside castle walls! I have stayed in lots of places around the world and this one is special. Couple things: It is a bit of a walk to the house (including uphill) your choice to walk along the beach or to walk through an older area with lots of shops and places to eat. We liked to stop and grab a snack and bottle of wine to carry up to the house to enjoy in the afternoon before walking down for dinner. Parking...the easiest plan is to just park in the underground parking garage...about $40 for 24hrs. My wife and I stayed here and it was perfect. There are four or five other beds (all twin) but just know that it would be pretty tight if you tried to pack in 5 or 6 adults. Eating...excellent food is within walking distance. We ate almost all of our meals inside the castle walls. Highly recommended!

The house is very nice and very well located. The village is beautiful, with a lot of gastronomic offerings. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. Highly recommended and very good treatment.

The location of Can Caulès is privileged. Make good weather or bad weather, the place is unique and tranquility is extreme. Also, Jacqueline and Xavi have everything so well done that they make you be at home. Special mention to Jacqueline, very attentive to anything we could need and to give us directions of all kinds to get the most out of our stay in the area. But when I say she is attentive, I mean "Level GOD". I knew Saturday was my wife's birthday and left a VERY special detail on the outside table. A whole surprise that made us very illusic. Thank you very much for everything!

The listing is even better than the photos. Agree with other reviews that this is one of the most beautiful, charming and special houses we've been to. We wanted to be away from the cities and were looking for a convenient place in the country to explore the area around and north of Girona. This was very well located to do that and we ended up extending an extra night because we liked it so much. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is very well outfitted, and it's just a great place to stay. It's far enough outside of town to be very quiet, but close enough should you need something. The house is gorgeous, the neighbors are helpful but not intrusive and we really appreciate the welcoming gifts. Sergio was always a quick email away and we couldn't have asked for a better stay! Highest recommendation!

Fantastic apartment, great location. Ida was very helpful, both with information before arrival (and super easy check in details) but also during stay. Had a minor plumbing issue and she found a plumber right away on a Friday late afternoon who could come to sort it out with no problems. Would definitely recommend!

We had a blast at Christa's place in Peratallada. While we stayed there we visited Girona, Cadaques, Figueres and Pals. However, we could have stayed at Christa's place the whole time and been very happy. Christa's place is super comfortable, equipped, and clean. We went to a grocery store multiple times and its only 10 minutes away. Peratallada is a gem. In a 1 minute walk you can get the best gin and tonic you ever had in the back of the ice cream store. The restaurants we ate at were outstanding and they were all recommended by Christa. In this trip we also stayed in several fancy hotels in Barcelona but we liked our time at Christa's the most. My wife and I hope to stay at Christa's again. If you want to stay in a medievil town with a moat around it, this is a no brainer.

Location was great- easy walk to all cafes, quick access to get out on bike routes. Central location but quiet in the evening. Patio area is a lovely area with views of Girona.

Checked in quickly, found it right away, there were some inconveniences, in particular construction right outside the window,noisy and dusty..rarely went out to the terrace, in this regard..The apartment is cozy, everything matched the description,there is a covered garage under the house.The faucet was broken in the kitchen,but they came and installed it the same evening.In general, everything is fine,close to the sea,all entertainment is at hand-I recommend it

Beautiful apartment on the 4th floor in the center of the small town. The old town and many restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Eduard responded quickly and kindly to inquiries and personally handed over the apartment to us. Very well equipped and spacious kitchen.

Eva’s apartment is truly beautiful. She has thought of everything to make our stay so comfortable and homely. It’s impeccably designed and practical as well as being very stylish. We felt right at home. It was so clean and welcoming we settled in right away! We stayed for 3 nights and now we wish we’d stayed for longer! We would recommend this apartment very highly to anyone- it’s just perfect. It is also very good value for money. You get a whole lot of lovely apartment for what Eva asks for “rent” - incredibly reasonable. Eva was a lovely host - she went above and beyond arranging taxi trips etc because I’m currently having difficulty walking longer distances (awaiting a knee operation). Eva also checked in with us to ask if all was well and did we need anything. So thoughtful and kind. We would like to come back to Girona again when I’m recovered and would definitely stay in Eva’s apartment not only for its superb location but because we felt at home there. Thank you Eva xx

Very nice stay on the Catalan coast. Sergi has a nice apartment, good location, with a nice terrace. Plus, he's very friendly and offers good advice.

Marcello is a very available and welcoming host. He recommended a restaurant he booked for us and where we were perfectly welcomed. The house is spacious and pleasant for large groups. I recommend it!

Very satisfied There were 8 of us and we stayed at the end of April 2025. The weather was not one of the best for the sea but the fact of having such a large and comfortable house helped. The house is huge with large living spaces and bedrooms, in my opinion the photos don't do it justice, in truth the house is much more beautiful than you can see in the photos The host Yulia was always at our disposal even in times of need, she was very kind and cordial. Unspecified: the garage is not usable, but there is ample uncovered parking space. The kitchen is well-stocked with glasses, flatware and appliances. The house offers amenities such as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The only thing would be to improve the living room with a larger sofa since the property can accommodate many people and provide more blankets if needed. Not all rooms have a lock to be able to close them, this could limit privacy

We had a great time at this villa, perfectly suited for a large group (there were 14 of us). The accommodation is spacious, very well equipped and ideal for enjoying the full outdoors: tennis court, mini golf, ping pong... everything is thought out to have a good time together. The owners were extremely responsive and available throughout the stay (and very nice), which made our experience even more enjoyable. I would recommend it in a second!

The perfect, private, hillside villa. The family all loved the pool, darts and chess boards and well stocked larder and kind gifts (wine and crisps) for our arrival. The place is beautifully decorated. Thank you so much Daphne.

Thanks for this beautiful weekend! The villa is on 2 floors with 2 separate entrances as indicated in the listing. The living room is spacious. The view from the terrace is breathtaking! Not far from the center of Lloret de mar (about 8min drive) and the Torre de mar which we really liked (a little further away). If you want to hike or rest this is a very nice place.

We came to stay in Santa Coloma for a mountain biking weekend, the house is perfect and close to the biking spot! Silvia is responsive and accommodating. We'll definitely be back I recommend

Great stay as a family. I'll keep in touch with Alek who I really enjoyed as well as my loved ones! Very nice and friendly host. Responsive, available and very friendly. From the first night we forgot the keys inside and were stuck outside. He came very quickly in the middle of the night to bring us a duplicate with a smile on his face, someone really nice! And the accommodation was very nice and friendly and also very clean. In terms of location, we are not in Lloret itself but 5 min from the house, located at a height with very nice views and no noise pollution, really a very soothing stay. 10/10 and a little + for the location to park cars. I recommend this guest house to everyone. I will keep an excellent memory of this trip to Spain, the accommodation as well as Alek, an excellent host who gave us a very good welcome (basket/wine... offered on our arrival) and who was available all week.
