Farm Stay - Working livestock farm

Come stay in our apartment connected to the barn on our active working farm. We are located 3 miles from the state capitol building in Montpelier, but you would never know it up here. You can cross country ski, snowshoe, hike, or bike out your front door, and we are located within 45 min. from Sugarbush, Stowe, Mad River Glen, & Bolton Valley. You can also check out the local beer & spirits scene, or just relax at the farm. Guests are always welcome to tour the grounds and see the animals.

Highland House is on a working farm raising champion Highland breeding stock and grass-fed beef. Daily farm activities you are welcome to join or observe. On a low-traveled country road your stay is convenient to a large variety of attractions and fine restaurants in Montpelier, Stowe, NE Kingdom, Burlington and Canada.

Wake up to the sounds of nature, a cup of coffee on the porch, or cozied up by the fire with a book. Prepare simple meals in the kitchenette, or head out to local restaurants within a ten minute drive. Enjoy being comfortable while close to nature. Guests love the comfortable bed, and the pullout futon makes it an affordable option for families. Nearby walking trails, swimming holes, mountain biking, gravel biking out the door, and cross-country ski areas nearby. Fire pit with wood provided.

Sitting on our 200 acre estate this authentic barn offers our guests a chance to relax in the beautiful rolling hills of Vermont. Access the vast majority of our historic Stowe area land -- from our apple orchards to our extensive walking paths in fields and woodland. We hope that you can experience such fun and quiet time in our cozy, western-style bunk room. Located only a 10 minute drive from downtown Stowe.

Cute and Functional One Bedroom in Barre VT!

Enjoy a stay at this stylish experience at this centrally-located place! Three separate rooms. Large Bathroom and Kitchen and Bedroom/Living Room. The full size bed has a trundle underneath to pull out a twin size bed. The shades and curtains in the bedroom are blockout shades to keep out the lights of the night. Lots of off street parking and separate private entrance. You will be on the first floor apartment. There is an apt above the studio that is also rented to Air B and B travelers!

Fairytale cabin at The Wild Farm

Lay in bed and look out the huge picture window at the farm. You might see cats climbing trees, hummingbirds, snowflakes falling, lightning storms and many more beautiful moments. We have a Wolf, don't be alarmed she is as friendly as can be and will greet you and escort you to the cabin. If you like nature, animals, walking in the forest, cuddling up by the wood stove, then this is the place for you. The cabin is surrounded by gorgeous perennial gardens. We look forward to hosting you!

Magical cabin with amazing views

100 year old , freshly renovated cabin that is in the middle of five 100 year old apple trees with incredible Mountain View’s. The cabin sits 100ft uphill from my 1842 brick farmhouse and is surrounded by apples trees, an ancient elm tree, fields and my berry patches. The huge deck has a dining table, lots of seating and and outdoor shower. Off the side of the deck are two claw foot bathtubs with hot and cold water for you to soak in. Note, tubs aren’t usable during the freezing months.

Off Grid Tiny House

This sweet little house is great for those who want to get away from it all. It's like camping but with many more creature comforts. Hot and cold running water and a fantastic hot outdoor shower! The house does not come with sheets and towels but if you need that, please let me know and I’ll make that happen for a small fee ($15)! Great for kids! Plenty of mountain biking and hiking from your front door. Lots to explore. Nature right outside your door! 10% veteran discount.

Our rustic Sugarwood home will give you a moment to enjoy Vermont and to find a calm moment in you. We’re located in Plainfield (10min to Montpelier, 50min to Craftsbury, 45min to Bolton Valley resort, 45min to Stowe, 20min to Groton State park). You’ll enjoy to be around tall evergreen trees. This place is so magical and dreamy! Bedroom is located upstairs (It's a loft bedroom) We have three beautiful boys and a silly golden retriever Jackie. We live in a main house.
