What a wonderful spot. My fiance and and 2 dogs and I needed a place to stay on our road trip back from Orlando to Louisville. This place is economical, and has the coolest surroundings. You drive a dirt road for about a mile before you come across this property. The owners introduced themselves, and then left us to our own devices. I loved that personal touch. As for the property itself, you cannot do much prettier than these surroundings. Our dogs loved exploring the grounds. The inside of the house reminded me of my late grandmother’s; so many cool Knick knacks and antique furnishings. I suggest staying here for a night, or for two weeks. :) A respite from the hustle and bustle of everything, this place is fantastic for a peaceful stay.

This little Airbnb was wonderfull I’m the type of person to really analyze the photos before I book. Because we all know photos aren’t always what they seem. But even in doing so, once we arrived. This place exceeded my expectations. It was clean, cute, and private. Truly couldn’t be better. And for the price?! It was amazing.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We absolutely loved this home and the host went over and above to provide comfort. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived with simple personal touches from chocolates to a special treat for our doodle. Our dog loved the pup muffins so much that we located the bakery and bought some to take home. The fenced in backyard offered plenty of room for our dog to run and play fetch. The neighborhood was quiet. We were so thankful to have the garage to use as it was rainy. The kitchen was large and allowed me to cook for my family. I just can’t say enough positive words about this home or its host. This will be at the top of our list for any upcoming trips.

Either Oar cabin is as charming as it appears. The woods and lake are beautiful. What a unique and special AirBnB! We only stayed 1 night, as we were passing through from Florida to Little Rock, but it’s the kind of place you want to stay longer and enjoy. Anna was a great host—very friendly and responsive, and the cabin had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. Our family really enjoyed our short stay, and would highly recommend it to anyone. A couple of notes, you do need to be able to navigate stairs to access the front door, and if you’re going to spend a lot of time exploring outside, you may want mosquito spray, but it’s a cabin in the woods, so that should not be a surprise. If you’re looking for something special off the beaten path, this is it.
