Roberto was kind, considerate and extremely helpful. We’re new to navigating small Sicilian towns, and got a bit turned around, and Roberto met us and led us to the apartment. He offered great dinner recommendations and other helpful tips. Very walkable and safe. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure with very nice shampoo and shower gel. The WiFi was fast. The coffee was excellent. Very close to CASALE -Roman Mosaic palace. Wow! A must do. Big bonus is your own reserved parking space. Extremely good value. Thanks Roberto!

Great stay in a charming studio just minutes from the Duomo. The space is clean and well designed, with a comfortable bed, a small kitchen, and a loft with a child’s bed, making it a good option for solo travelers, couples, or families. The ungated stairs and hard floors may not be ideal for mobile toddlers, but it worked well for us with a younger baby. Families with older children should also find it convenient. Parking was easy - Via Floresta (100m away) had plenty of empty paid slots (€0.60/hr, free mid-afternoon and overnight) and also free spots that opened up frequently. The town feels authentic, not just a tourist showcase, offering a glimpse of Sicilian life. It’s also the perfect base for visiting Villa Romana del Casale. Highly recommend.

I spent two nights in Piazza Armerina as I wanted time to visit the Villa Romana del Casale. I could not have a better host than Gabrielle. He went out of his way to orient me to his place and to Piazza Armerina. He kindly picked me up and returned me to my bus stop, which was in the new part of town, far from his place in the historic center. Gabrielle helped me find my way to the archeological site and was helpful with a restaurant recommendation. I would recommend his place to all my friends and students visiting the ruins.
