Isla Vista Apartments Canouan/Breath taking views

GrahamRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Isla Vista Apartment was great. Jacqueline and Neville saved our trip. After checking into a different AIRBNB on the island we wanted to get out immediately. We called Jacqueline who immediately answered and within 15 minutes we were at Isla Vista with Neville greeting us. The apartment was immaculate. The views we wondered, Conch restaurant 5 minute walk below directly on the beach. They say Canouan is the place Billionaires go to get away from millionaires. If your not a billionaire, you need to stay at Isla Vista Apartments!

We had a wonderful week with Captain Johan and Nelia. They really are amazing host. Nelia is an amazing cook and made sure we had everything we wanted. Captain Johan is a very experienced Captain and we always felt save. We came as strangers and left as friends. I would highly recommend this trip. Cheers in the eyes!
A wooden table with two chairs is positioned on a balcony, offering expansive views of the ocean and distant islands. Bright pink bougainvillea flowers frame the scene, while the sky is filled with fluffy white clouds and vibrant blue tones.

Aux Petits Oiseaux

We had a lovely stay here. A very comfortable, airy apartment, kept cool with ceiling fans, with well-equipped kitchen. The view from the veranda is truly spectacular and we happily spent hours sitting there, and there are beautiful places to go around the island too. We would especially recommend taking a taxi over to Chatham Bay and walking down through the forest: the beach is beautiful and very deserted and Seckie’s bar there serves really good food. Patrice was a great host: really helpful answering questions and advising on travel to Union.

The villa exterior features modern architecture with large windows, providing sweeping views of the ocean. Pathways lead to the entrance, bordered by lush greenery and various tropical plants. The distant hills enhance the sense of tranquility in the inviting outdoor space.

We had a wonderful stay at Kipling's house. It is slightly off the beaten path and we rented a Subaru from Kipling that worked beautifully up the last part of the drive which is steep and rutted. The house is VERY comfortable with an amazing view. Be aware that Anse La Roche beach is not accessible by foot so we took a boat there and drove to other beaches around the island. Kipling was extremely responsive and arranged trips for us to Tim's (a must visit beach and restaurant on Anse La Roche) and to incredible snorkeling spots, including Sandy Island and Saline Island (where we swam with sea turtles) We were glad to see that Carriacou is working well toward hurricane recovery and hope to visit again.
A serene coastal view features lush green hills and palm trees lining the shore. The azure water reflects the bright blue sky, while sailboats rest peacefully in the bay. Gentle waves create a soothing ambiance in this tranquil setting.

Grenada: Stay on a Private Yacht

It was a privilege to be on Era, Christine and Roux’s home. They made us feel very relaxed and welcome from the start. The boat was well equipped especially the bar! We tried new things, trips were arranged to secluded bays and beaches and sunset dinners. There was a clear plan ahead of our arrival but it was flexible enough to accommodate our requests. Roux and Christine are really interesting and knowledgeable which meant plenty of conversations. The food was delicious and we loved trying new things. I loved having coffee on the deck in the morning very relaxing. Beautiful environment with turtles, rays, sunsets, snorkelling with a great mooring spot. It is fair to say we wanted an adventure and we certainly got one, we had complete confidence in our hosts and Era.
