Vacation rentals with breakfast in Penzance

Really comfortable and well presented home away from home. Plenty of space for us as a family of four and we loved the large open plan living and dining area. The bedding was SO soft and we slept well! We appreciated thoughtful touches such as kitchen spray, tea towels, salt and pepper (we always forget it!) and a lovely welcome hamper. The weather conspired against us but we made the best of it and helpful information from Jo and Cassie gave us ideas for places to explore. Thank you both! Sarah and Ben

Easy check in with clear instructions. House was very clean. Space on driveway to park our Ford Kuga (Escape). Charging was also available from the driveway. 5 min walk to private beach and coastal running/walking path. 10 min walk to Charlestown. Kids room with bunk beds, kids books, and toys in the under stairs closet. This place was perfect for our small family, including our 4 year old and my parents. Coffee maker and well stocked kitchen. 5 min drive to ASDA. Simple check out. Overall, a great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Matt’s house was lovely, comfortable, very clean and a great location for our first stay in Cornwall. The shower downstairs is a great bonus from Sandy days at the beach and where we all showered to be honest :-) kids loved their rooms too and had no problem sleeping after a full day of fun and the football table got our competitive natures going a few times too! Lots of space throughout the house and good use of a utility room with washing machine and dryer too. Beach is only a short walk away and the little village itself is quaint with great bakery’s (st Agnes bakery and further up round by the Spar a cute place called Martina’s which do amazing french paste ties too on certain days!) you must try the Peterville arms pub/restaurant opposite - staff are soooo friendly and food delicious and plentiful :-) We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to families for a comfortable, clean, home away from home stay. We all had a fantastic time at Ocean’s Edge. Exactly what we wanted being right next to the beach. Perfect for the children and our dog. Friendly and helpful neighbours. Would definitely come back again. Thank you.

Louise was wonderful… made us feel right at home. Collected us from bus station the night we arrived. Louse provided us with a superb selection of fruits, yogurt, cereals, toast and eggs for breakfast. A very warm accommodating person and we would definitely stay again. Thank you Louise 😊🌻🌻

Wonderful place to stay to relax and explore the many attractions around the Lizard peninsular. Beautiful spacious home with a dog-friendly garden, comfortable and really well equipped for guests. Diana was a kind and welcoming host with great advice on local activities and a big folder of local info, walks, places to eat etc. We loved Helford, Porthallow, Lizard point and Kynance Cove especially. And the characterful pub at Manaccan. We’d love to stay again. Thank you Diana!

Great place to stay, so close to local amenities and Lostwithiel was a great base for us to explore the rest of Cornwall! The flat was super clean and cosy, easy to find, and had everything we needed.

A perfect haven to explored Falmouth from. We were able to walk to the beach, the docks and the centre of town and return to a quiet, restful place with a beautiful garden and lovely cat! Joan was so helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome. And the shortbread is as good as all the other reviews say it is! I’d love to stay here again.

Michelle was the perfect host and the studio apartment absolutely idyllic. I was attending a pottery course a few minutes walk, so a perfect location. The breakfast was soooo yummy and the little extra touches very thoughtful. The accommodation is spotlessly clean; bed really comfy giving a great nights sleep; shower was fabulous. Any questions I had, Michelle responded straight away, you couldn't hope or wish for anything more. I completely recommend both Michelle as a host and her accommodation (there is also a self catering cabin) without hesitation.

Elaine and Bernard were such lovely hosts and the accommodation was like a home from home, I'd definitely stay here again and would highly recommend my friends and family stay here. Super comfortable, clean, and close to train station, the city centre eateries and shops and also the beautiful Victoria Gardens.

Excellent little flat fronting the road yards away from the waterfront. We found parking easy in the evening except once on race day. I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work as my phone wouldn’t pick up the network. Otherwise all good, nicely decorated and plenty of room for two.

Mevagissey is a beautiful place!! Gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed the Lost gardens of Heligan and the coastal walk to Gorran Haven. We also visited St Ives and Tintagel castle - both amazing! Debbie and John are brilliant hosts - thank you for the lovely and thoughtful treats, bread, jam and milk…etc Thank you for making us feel at home, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

This was easily the most welcoming, hospitable and generous hosts I’ve experienced on airbnb. With local recommendations, going above and beyond to make us feel at home, even a lovely crumpet before bed due to a long walk. Paul and Alison were responsive to our needs and advised us on the path, as well as sharing anecdotal experiences. A real joy to meet them. Not to mention the great facilities and clean room. Mel and Wayne were great hosts, perfect little place right by lusty glaze beach, and a 15 minute walk into main Newquay. The room was spotless, the breakfast was lovely and was a perfect all round trip. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Newquay and will be booking this place again on our return down south. 5 star’s plus!! Thank you both for hosting us. Molly & Luke

Sue and Chris are fantastic hosts, very friendly, accommodating and just a joy to be around! The communication with them was excellent, they are very responsive and helpful with any queries and they made suggestions, too. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, we were off to a good start every morning. Shout out to Chris for the chats and the music! :) The location is great, in beautiful surroundings and the house has a very cheerful vibe, is clean and comfy and is very close to the local centre (a two-minute walk) with a great selection of restaurants. They were keen to help with our broken down car too which alleviated the stress of it. Fruitcake, their cute and friendly cat was the cherry on the cake! :)

My room was in a dedicated annex building that was absolutely lovely, both room and breakfast area. The place is immaculate in every respect. Michele and Robin friendly and helpful (she let me sneak in early). A great breakfast cooked there and then. You won’t start your day hungry!

Ben and Claire were the perfect host ,the room was lovely bright and airy .lovely nights sleep in a comfortable bed, very quiet . Sat in the private garden which was lovely. Breakfast was much appreciated. Would highly recommend .

Ellen and Terry are lovely people, we had very clear directions find them and instructions where to park etc, they met us at the door and showed us our room and facilities, gave us a few suggestions of places we could eat, visit and see in the area. Also, invited us to use their garden or bring back a take away - we did sit in the garden, lovely to listen to the babbling stream and chirping birds, it was so relaxing. We were treated to a good cooked breakfast each morning and some hints on the places we planned to visit, like taking the ferry from Rock to Padstow, so we had some experiences we would not have known about by ourselves, so loved that we saw different aspects of Cornwall than we'd expected. We would love to visit again.

Spent a lovely 4 nights in order to celebrate our honeymoon. Our room was spotless and we appreciated having the use of our own breakfast/living area. The location and the accommodation were absolutely idyllic.

Betty's place is a real gem, incredibly welcoming, thoughtfully and artuflly decorated, with everything you need and in a pristine condition. But the real spotlight it's not her place, it's Betty herself. She is a wonderful host and unbelievably caring person, who made us feel at home from the very first message and all the way through our stay. There are simply no people like her left on Airbnb (and, unfortunately, very few on earth, I dare say). And top of it all, her dog Gwenny is a real sweetheart who will make your stay even more joyous. We wouldn't stay anywhere in Cornwall after being there - but please, if you're one of those arsehole Airbnb guests who go there for the gram, just stay the hell away from this gem of a place.
