Chalet vacation rentals in Peisey-Nancroix

Overall: Came for a winter skiing week with 3 adults and 2 children. Everyone was very satisfied with this very nice chalet -- but prepare yourself for some low ceilings. Pros: Larger than we were expecting. Split toilet and shower helps with larger group. Lots of places to dry your wet items. Area outside for kids to play in snow with toys and sled(ge)s available. Sheltered picnic table just outside the front door. Able to borrow a variety of cooking equipment for making local delicacies. Extremely helpful host. Beautiful interior and exterior. Cons: You WILL bump your head on the large ceiling joist over the beds in the 3-bed room. No matter how much you think you have learned where it is, you haven't. On the last day while packing achieved concussion level impact with this joist, despite a week of experience. Other low areas such as over stairs could be an issue for a taller person. Garage has limited space for accessing vehicle and we parked only half into the garage.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chalet Cosmos from March 1st to March 8th, 2025. Our group of five adults and three children (ages 2.5, 13, and 14) felt completely at home. The chalet is just as beautiful as in the photos—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The stunning view of Mont Blanc from the window made every morning special, especially while enjoying a warm cup of tea or coffee. The house is very warm and cozy, with comfortable rooms for everyone. The fully equipped kitchen had more than enough glasses, plates, and utensils, making meal preparation effortless. We also really appreciated the selection of board games, which provided great entertainment after a long day on the slopes. The location is perfect for exploring the four ski resorts in the Chamonix area, and we were able to visit them all. The chalet was an ideal base for our adventures.

Met our expectations if not more! Everything we were looking for was there...calm and authenticity. Flawless accommodation, from the choice of decoration to cleanliness, not to mention the little extras that make the difference and the success of a stay. In short, nothing to say but "When are we going back?!" A big thank you Valerie for this little enchanting and rejuvenating break before tackling a new year!

It's always a great pleasure to come back to Le Barillon and meet in Alain and Ginette's beautiful chalet, surrounded by beautiful mountains and beautiful forests. Alain and Ginette are great hosts, super nice, friendly as usual.

Pauline was very welcoming and gave us lots of help and information regarding local attractions. The house is very clean and has everything you'll need. We were 2 adults, 2 small children and 1 baby and there was plenty of space.

A fantastic cottage, neatly and tastefully appointed. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. Jean-Luc was very kind, available and flexible. This is a beautiful rental, very well located to enjoy all the surrounding activities.

Exotic stay in an environment close to nature and the village center. We appreciated Gerard's discreet presence and kindness. We hope to come back.

We had a great stay. The house was fab and Iona was tip top as a host. We would come back.

Easily one of the best airbnb's we've stayed at. It accurately matched the description, host was very responsive and very flexible to our requests. Pictures matched exactly and don't do the views justice. The kitchen is very well stocked with every appliance and kitchen utensils you might need. The coffee machine was fantastic in the mornings. Hot tub was great, and each room had amazing insulation. While some people watched TV upstairs others could go to sleep undisturbed. Wifi worked great (~90MB/s in the living room) and I was able to get a bit of work done while I was there. I'll warn you to park at the base of the small cluster of houses in the public parking and walk the rest of the way. It is possible to drive up to the house but the street becomes very narrow with buildings on either side and might be difficult with a larger car or if you don't have experience driving on tight European village roads. The walk from the public parking is very easy and at most took 2 minutes.

Simply amazing place; perfect for a family of skiers. Very spacious, tastefully arranged, with fantastic views, just a dream. Better than the pictures. Practicality-wise, kitchen is very well equipped, utility room and pantry are separate, and there's both washer and dryer. En-suite shower is really nice, and family bathroom is spacious and has separate toilet. Foyer has heated floor and plenty of space for skiing gear. Overall, much more spacious and comfortable place than typical chalet in the area. Isabelle was very helpful to arrange snowmobile for our luggage on check-in and check-out. If you are skiing, and Bettex lift is working - the access is just perfect, but even with lift not yet opened (as in our case) it's a breeze to ski to the cabines down and then via Finance piste back. For restaurants and local grocery after ski it was a short sporty walk. Couldn't be happier with our stay - recommended.

Melanie and Nico were the best Airbnb hosts we've ever encountered. As soon as we arrived, we were met with so much kindness and a huge surprise! Throughout the week, they always made sure we were good by scheduling shuttle times for the mountain, providing us with daily food menus to order from, and coming to help us when we didn't know how to use the coffee machine. The house itself is incredible! It was a beautiful feeling to dip in the hot tub, sauna, or pool after a long day on the slopes. The view of the mountains from the house was one of the best views we've seen. It was also easy to navigate into the Arcs. From the house, it's about a 10-15-minute walk to Arcs 1600, and from there, it's super easy to take the bus to the other Arcs. If you want an incredible, relaxing, unforgettable experience, book with Melanie and Nico. You won't regret it!

We had a fantastic stay at Chalet Matalen! The chalet is set in a beautiful and peaceful location slightly away from the centre of Arc 1800 which made for a wonderfully relaxing stay—we were never disturbed. However, access to the slopes and village was still very easy, with the Jardin Alpin lift just a five-minute walk away and a regular shuttle bus service at the end of the road providing connections to various destinations in Les Arcs. The chalet itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with excellent facilities including a ski room that was incredibly useful after a day on the slopes. Everything was thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable stay. A special mention to Fanny, who provided support throughout our stay. She was attentive, easy to contact and very helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a high-quality chalet in a stunning setting this is the perfect choice. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We had a great time in this beautiful, modern, and charming cottage. Well-equipped, and nicely furnished, with a wide living room and a beautiful sunny terrace in the afternoon and evening, nothing is lacking. Located in a quiet area close to the village with all the necessary shops. To be done again!

We had a great time at Josiane's; the setting is very beautiful, the accommodation is quiet and functional. We enjoyed the friendly welcome from our host and their hospitality. The location of the accommodation allowed us to take very nice hikes and access the heart of the village easily without taking the car.

As soon as we arrived Jérôme and Laëtitia were attentive and available to make it easy for us to access their accommodation despite a party in the village. The accommodation is well designed and well-equipped, bright and modern. The terrace is pleasant: shaded and wooded with a beautiful view while being located in the heart of the village. The location is ideal, you park the car and you can do anything on foot: walk to the village with shops and restaurants, hiking departures. We had a pleasant stay with our two children and we took full eyes, the landscapes are superb. We recommend it! Thanks to Jérôme and Laëtitia and happy hosting.

Pascal's cottage is friendly and extremely peaceful, you are lulled by the sound of the river and the calm of the mountain. The amenities available in the house allow you to cook all the small dishes of the mountain. The lifts are 5 minutes away, only the Saint Colomban estate is off-center from the Domaine des Sybelles. I would highly recommend it! Pascal is a attentive and caring host.

Perfect accommodation for a family gathering, access close to the ski resort, very peaceful environment. The only downside in my opinion is the price of electricity to be added at the end of the stay. We had it for 107 euros without excess and without using the sauna ...

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this chalet in Tignes. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking mountain and lake views and easy access to everything you need. The property itself is beautiful: spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Also the kitchen is equipped for 17 people. One minor note for future guests: we noticed that the local foxes were quite active and managed to break into the trash bags we left outside, causing a bit of a mess. This wasn’t an issue with the property or the hosts at all, just something to keep in mind and perhaps secure the trash more tightly or store it indoors until collection day. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this chalet to anyone visiting Tignes. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for such a memorable stay!
