Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Pauri Garhwal

I have been to a lot of Airbnbs & this was easily one of the most unusual ones. Reading the reviews I got to know there is some history associated with the place. Apparently,someone from a royal Nepal family relocated here way back in 1931 & spent the rest of his years at this place until his death in 1993. Our room didn't capture much of this history though,except for a booklet written in 1942. However,the dining room was full of stuff from the 20th century. We found a well maintained visitor book there. The place has been having visitors since over 60 years! Located in a village in Katapathar & about 400 m from Yamuna river,the property is an interesting relic of the past. It's great for someone looking to spend time away from the city. Though both of us felt that TV/free wi-fi can be provided. The caretakers were great & the food was fabulous. We had a good time at the place.

For me it was the most peaceful trip ever. The rooms, the cafe, the staff everyone and everything was just perfect. It was an amazing stay and one must visit this place for everyone. Perfect to relax and perfect to work too. Food is amazing and the cafe will give you all the feels you need. Amazing place. You need to stay here and experience it.

Beautiful place for a weekend getaway and perfect environment to enjoy silence, away from hustle and crowd of city life. Must try. The host (Mr Ashish) is very cooperative and guided us well in roaming around. Entire staff is very cooperative. well maintained property.

Perfect for a Relaxing Short Trip, away but not far from the hustle of the Mussoorie Main Area. Clean, Comfortable and Warm Rooms. Spacious and Good Outside space. Polite and Helpful staff. Best Quality of Food. Although me and my kid are afraid of dogs but we didn’t felt like when the pets were around. Friendly communication with the Owner of the property. What else one need for a perfect staycation. Would definitely like to stay again. Cheers to the team.

It was an amazing 2 night stay at Seegreen.. away from all the hustle bustle of Mussoorie, which exactly we wanted… nice and cosy rooms with balcony at the front was lovely. Sitting out in the evening and hearing the sound of nature was mesmerising. Best part is the quaint little Café downstairs.. staffs were good and food too. Two thumbs up!!! 🤘🏼

We had a lovely stay. We were there with our two year old. The food was fantastic - fresh and tasty. The place was beautiful. Our cottage had two mango trees in front of it which made it very private and we were surrounded by little birds and birdsong. Umed was a great guide for our nature walks. The footage from the camera traps was really informative. The rooms were large and there was a nice verandah. Overall the stay was memorable!

The place is exactly as seen as the photos. The rooms are a bit small but the stay is at a high altitude, justifying the same. Deorital trek entrance is 1 min away. Water can be a problem since monkeys reign havoc in the area. The road farther up makes for a great morning walk and gives a panoramic view of Sari village. Only downside was that the food was a little on the costlier side but then that happens when the nearest market is 20 km away. Dev is a great host and makes it easy to feel at home. Will recommend this property. ❤️❤️

Our first visit to Mussoorie/Landour was made truly memorable by being based at Annfield Cottage. The room was spacious, beautifully designed & equipped and spotlessly clean, our hosts and their staff looked after our every need, advising on places to visit, helping with taxis etc. And a special mention for the food which was delicious - especially the evening meals. Highly recommended!

Our pet Tyson thoroughly enjoyed his stay and had the most amazing time of his life.

2km away 😒from TUNGNATH MAHADEV main entrance where you have to begin your journey and you need to pay extra to host to get you from the spot we have already paid you 14k he would have given us some small perks to pick us for free it's not a big deal 🤝. Photos are old needs to update current scenario of the site though site is very good. Person who was assisted us was not quite guest friendly don't know how treat guest friendly and make some formal good relation . He was focusing on charges instead of giving us a delightful experience. Breakfast has no option whatever they prepare you needs to eat if you'll ask for an option they will directly come to the charges instead of he would offer us some options only one cup of tea you will get no option though having a very cold weather 🥶we would have given the extra charges but looks likes he was denying us. You'll have to pay for hot water 💦 disgusting 😞 water is iced cold 🥶 overall So-So tha 😅 we started our journey from Mumbai🤝

We had a fantastic time at Myrica cottages. It checks all the boxes for a vacation where you just want to relax and unwind in the middle of nature. The Location: Beautiful, peaceful and completely isolated, but easily accessible. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the hustle & bustle of the city life, then this is the place. Also there are some nice treks in the vicinity which you can do at leisure. One of those will take you to the Himalaya view point and the other to a nice, pristine water stream. the Location is fabulous. The Stay: The cottages are very tastefully done and are a perfect setting for a chilled out relaxing time either for couples or even for a group. The food: Since there is nothing in the vicinity, you will have to rely on everything from their kitchen, but the good thing is that Prakash cooks excellent food and you dont feel like you are missing anything. The Hosts: Extremely friendly and helpful. All the best to the team for future.

Wonderful stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in seamless. Great location—close to everything yet quiet at night. THE HOST-Harvinder is one of the kindest people I have stayed with. Extremely helpful and cooperative. He will do anything possible to make your stay blissful. THE PLACE-There are truly no words that can do justice to articulate the beauty of this place.A lovely place set up as a very cosy home amidst mountains,I would say a tastefully done up house. Multiple viewpoints at the property,a perfect place for long holidays or short staycations. About 25 mins away from mussoorie town,far enough from the hustle bustle. THE FOOD-Very very very delicious food,cooked by their own shef. YOU MUST VISIT!!!

It's a lovely home, nicely decorated and with a library having precious collection of books. It's away from city centre and it's for those who love nature , books & peace . Bhibhu Prasad ji is a nice , accommodative person. Couldn't get a chance to meet him but was always responsive on mobile.

Awesome place to spend a day or two near Joshimath. Very spacious room where we stayed as a family of four with hanging beds, large bathrooms and amazing view of the mountains all around. The access to the facility is a 30-40 step staircase from the highway but that also can be counted as an adventure The rock climbing, rappelling activity was awesome under the able guidance of ex paramilitary officer who did this on a daily basis during his service days. And he owns this B&B. His son Ajay who was out host was excellent and catered to all our requirements with a pleasant smile and eagerness to share wealth of knowledge and experiences with us about Uttarakhand and it’s culture. We learned a lot and our overall experience has been very positive

The location is beautiful, and our host varun is so helpful, property is neat and clean, rooms are big and spacious and the view from the balcony is breathtaking, highly recommended..

I feel like Pithundi Jungle Lodge is the best kept secret! This has become my 'go to' place when I need to get away from it all, soak in the peace and the natural beauty of the surroundings, have time to focus and reflect. The set up here has been perfect for me to concentrate on my work and study - comfortable, convenient, with delicious food cooked by PremSinghJi. This time I got to explore more of the local trails, including a long walk to a local dhaba where we had chai with milk fresh from the buffalo - fantastic!

The view from this property is 10/10. you get full glass windows in the so that you dont have to sit outside for it. Care taker was very polite and arranged everything we needed till late night. Along with everything, delicious home cooked food completes everything.
