Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). A stunning house filled with bright, natural light. River frontage and valley and mountain views. Two sitting rooms, both with DSTV so you can have sport and cooking on at the same time! Only 6 minutes drive from The Clarens Square and 26 restaurants, yet you can unwind completely in the peacefulness of the wind and sunshine. Lovely walks. Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

The space has everything one needs for self catering and it is pet friendly with a beautifully big garden for your pets to explore! It’s also walking distance from town and is very close to one or two hiking trail entrances! I loved my stay and look forward to booking again! Clarens itself is very stunning and stays like this really highlight that for me! Definitely worth it if you are alone, a couple or two or three friends wanting a safe, comfortable space while you aren’t out exploring the town!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sue's Place. It was close enough to the town that you could walk if you wanted. The place is neat and clean and very spacious with all you need on hand The main road is close so you can hear the traffic but it's not too disruptive, it's still a very beautiful location to wake up and see the mountains.. We had a lovely stay.

Pretty log cabin, had all the amenities, everything worked. Struggled to find light switches but managed. Electric blankets and heaters to keep us warm. Beautiful view of the mountain. Clean and neat. Plenty hot water for showers. Property is on quite a busy road. Overall it was a great stay and would recommend it to friends.
