IrishThatched farm cottage. Private rural retreat

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Traditional thatched roof cottage with lots of charm. Sonia gave us some history of the cottage upon arrival. the setting was beautiful! The roses were divine! The thatched roof was why we booked, the setting was worth the stop, and the water pressure was outstanding, possibly the best in all of Ireland. Sonia is a delightful host and her live of the property shows.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin cottage! The place was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained — just the perfect spot to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub — soaking in it under the stars was such a peaceful and memorable experience. The surroundings were quiet and scenic, and the interior was charming and well-equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a true home away from home. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a quiet break from the city, this place is ideal. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend! Vineesh and Joslin

An Teach Beag, Log Cabin

Our stay in Cobh at Brenda and Edward’s cabin was absolutely lovely. Nestled on their charming family farm, the cabin offered the perfect peaceful retreat. Brenda and Edward were incredibly gracious hosts, welcoming us with warm conversation and thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The cabin itself was beautifully maintained and full of character, with a great selection of games that made our evenings cozy and fun. One of the standout details was the generous offer of fresh veg and eggs for breakfast. This stay was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and we will definitely be recommending Edward and Brenda’s cabin to friends and family. It was everything we had hoped for and more.

We had a wonderful few days at Maplegrove Cottage. It is a beautiful place in very peaceful surroundings and was absolutely spotless with everything we could need. Everything had been thought of. Noleen was a very helpful and friendly host, available if needed but left us to get on with our stay. Would highly recommend.
