We had our wedding at this location and it was absolutely amazing! All the guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and they weren’t wrong. The location was stunning and Douge was amazingly helpful, kind, accommodating, and responsive. He was there in person to show us around and give us a hand. I can not say enough about how fantastic these hosts are and how beautiful this site is. We easily had 11 people stay on site comfortably, the cabin is stunning, the trailers are lovely and everyone was very happy. Thank you so much Douge and Tracy for the amazing stay and for going above and beyond to help make our wedding day a huge success!

We loved our stay at Leah’s cabin. Everything was pristinely clean and the interior is so beautifully decorated. The property is quiet and peaceful with serene views of the lake. We found lots of great restaurants and hiking trails nearby and the nearest town is an easy 5 min drive. Would 100% stay here again!

Frogs croaking, cozy cabin, comfy beds! Building and managing fires was fun work. It was too bad the snow had melted but it was lovely anyways.

Gayle and Lee were amazing hosts!! We were greeted by the hosts at check-in and they had already set-up for us the woodstove fire place. The room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed and spotless floors. What really stood out to us was all of the personal touches from the freshly baked sourdough bread with butter and jam to a folder full of recommendations to build your own personalized itinerary. Unfortunately on the night of check-in my partner got the stomach flu. We informed the hosts and they leaped into action to help us in every way possible. They provided us with medication and disinfection to prevent myself from getting sick as well. They also graciously offered us an extra complimentary night for my partner to rest. We can't wait to come back!!

What A beautiful arrival, the ambiance at night was magical, the views and atmosphere during the day were also very soothing, tranquil. Very eclectic accomodations, right down to the art in the suite.

We loved our stay at Willo's Woodsy Dream Cabin in Madeira Park. Its exactly what you would want a cabin in the woods to be, it was old and rustic but didn't seem outdated at all. All appliances were functioning and beds were comfy. There are a few neighbours within close proximity but it still felt very private. There were a couple little restaurants and a grocery/liquor store is nearby. 15mins to walk, or faster to drive of course. The hot tub was fantastic. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Away from the highway and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a short 1km walk, drive or bike to the public beach or local wooded area to take the dog for a morning or afternoon walk. Douglas and Kate are kind and responsive, always reaching out to make sure the stay is as positive as possible. The accommodation was quaint and cosy for 4 people. The single bathroom is quite small so keep that in mind. Everything was clean and organized and well laid out. We enjoyed spending our mornings drinking coffee or tea on a sun-kissed balcony, surrounded by the sound of birds and squirrels. The beds are really comfy and the dark and quiet nights made for restful sleeps. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy a night out around the fireplace. Really appreciated the hospitality - would visit again for sure.

Wanda was an amazing host with one of the most beautiful and well kept properties we have seen. She was unbelievably accommodating and had the most lovely energy. We really enjoyed how spacious the cottage was, as well as all of the amenities — such as the well stocked kitchen and the thoughtful touches placed throughout the house. The gardens were extremely beautiful and she provided a propane tank for us when we decided to use the grill. We felt very welcome and loved the company of her dog dusty as well 💕 we would absolutely return for a serene getaway again!

We had such a lovely stay at Raquel’s place! Raquel was super responsive and easy to communicate with—she gave us lots of helpful info about the area, and when we ran out of pancake mix, she even brought us a new bag (so thoughtful!). The place itself is really cute and peaceful, with cows nearby and a sweet big black cat we got to meet. It’s in a great location too—right off the main road and just a minute away from a cider place we really enjoyed. The room was spotless and well equipped. We appreciated the selection of teas, the automatic coffee machine, and even dog biscuits—it’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. There were a few harmless ants here and there, but honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Vilupti & Timothy are wonderful hosts and we were lucky to catch them on our visit. They were so welcoming and friendly and really made a difference. Their property is beautiful and truly special. The view at the water is so memorable and if you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. Just far away enough from everything but still not more than 20min from anything. Highly recommend this stay for families!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Jennifer was lovely and had a very quick response time . The house was in excellent condition and lived up to all of our hopes and needs! Highly recommend

A great place to enjoy the coast for a weekend! Brett has done a superb job making the cabin cozy & welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook at home while staying here. The cabin is close to Sechelt for all amenities. We will be back in the summer!

Our family had a fantastic 2-night stay at Tania's beautiful lakeside home. The location is truly stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and a fantastic gravel beach including with a cozy little firepit. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Tania was a wonderful host – super responsive to our messages and we enjoyed our conversation with her. We also appreciated her discreetness, as she lives in the basement but we didn't even notice she was there. There were just a couple of minor things that could be improved for future guests: the fridge water filter could probably use a change, and unfortunately, the jacuzzi bathtub wasn't working during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing family vacation, thank you so much Tania!

The Cabin was absolutely beautiful and is in a stunning location - peaceful and quiet and set amongst trees. We were there in winter and we were so cozy and comfortable - Tanya even had the fire going for us when we arrived. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into making this an easy and relaxing place to stay. The Cabin is very spacious and has multiple spots to sit and enjoy the surroundings, both indoors and out. Tanya was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived, had lots of helpful advice and made us feel really welcome. We were there for two nights and would have loved to stay longer if we could.

We absolutely loved this cute little cabin! Nice and private with everything we needed to enjoy our week on the Island. Our Host Mary was very helpful and checked on us via texts to make sure we were ok. We will definitely choose this place again when we come back! We highly recommend this place. This place is so relaxing right at the ocean and it's so great to watch the wildlife an listen to the ocean!!!

Patti & Corrine’s place was exactly what we were looking for. You have a wonderful view of the ocean through the trees. Though there are other houses around you, it felt very private. There cottage is surrounded by trees & open grass to walk around. Waking up & ending the day to the sounds of birds was beautiful. We even saw a fawn on the property. They do have two cats which we only saw once & they were very friendly. The beach is a 2 min walk down a quiet street. The cottage itself is my dream home. It’s simple but homey. We loved the personal decor & book selections about the area & wildlife. We slept with the windows open to let in the cool ocean air. In the mornings I stood in the living room watching the sunrise through the giant window. I could have moved into their cottage if it was allowed. It was perfect. Patti was also wonderful at giving suggestions of things to do & explaining the ins & outs of the cottage. I highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it!

This log cabin was amazing!!! We were shocked at how beautiful the cabin itself and the surrounding area was. Margaret was an incredible host— she was so kind and provided lots of blankets and coffee and snacks and wood for the fire place which was a nice treat. The cabin was super cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom and kitchen specifically were stocked which was very useful because we were coming from out of town without many things. The property was beautiful and we saw deer and lots of bunnies, and there are dozens of trails to check out within walking distance. Some of the prettiest sceneries I’ve ever seen!! Would definitely recommend this cabin, it was a lot nicer than it even looks in the photos :)

Fantastic cabin with beautiful waterfront view! As previous reviews said, it’s fully fenced which is great for peace of mind for the dog! The pathway down to the water is definitely quite steep and with the overgrowth we didn’t attempt the walk down, so ended up driving a few minutes up the road for water access. The view is the best part of this place for sure! We had a lovely stay :)

We absolutely loved our stay here! Was host was exceptional, really friendly and checked in to see if there was anything extra we needed. It felt really safe. The bar across the street was loud when they had live bands playing, but that’s fully out of their control and we just headed to the beach. 10/10.
