The Ancient Baglio - Dammuso 'Il Limone'

The Antico Baglio (“U Bagghiu” in Sicilian) is the only building of its kind in Pantelleria and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the Sesi archaeological area, 400 meters as the crow flies from the coast, 9 minutes from the town of Pantelleria and 14 minutes from the airport. It is made up of four independent dammusi which can be accessed from the beautiful internal patio. A place of relaxation, in which you can enjoy a timeless atmosphere with typical Mediterranean rhythms and scents!

Wonderful dammuso with pool!

If you want to discover the soul of Pantelleria our dammuso is what you are looking for! With sea view, sun terrace, outdoor kitchen and pool, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, it is located in the northeast area of the island, very practical and at the same time quiet! The property is powered 100% by photovoltaic energy to reduce our impact on the environment and that of your holidays! The dammuso is not part of any resort and is managed directly by us who live there! :)

Dammuso il Sole

Here's the ideal solution for a dream vacation. Facing west, a stone's throw from the sea and the marina of Scauri, with incredible views of the island's spectacular sunsets, it also has access to the large exotic garden that collects dozens of specimens of rare beauty. A double bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a veranda with a few steps leading to the pool are the essential elements of the dammuso. The place is perfect, halfway between the most crowded points of the island, the phones have no connection and this gives a special note to the accommodation... I was looking for isolation and I found it. The dammuso is spacious and equipped with all the comforts, the outdoor space is kept perfectly, in the morning you look out and see the sunrise over the sea, in the evening you have no light pollution... Alessia is present and discreet.... we had a great time

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for twelve days between the last week of August and the first days of September. Caterina was a model host, helpful and friendly, she accompanied us from the beginning of our stay by coming to welcome us directly at the airport and providing us with very useful tips to make the most of the opportunities and the gems that the island offers. The apartment was well maintained and equipped with a beautiful terrace that in the evening allowed the view of romantic sunsets, in addition, the optimal location of the house allowed you to reach the city center on foot. For an upcoming vacation in Pantelleria we will certainly return to Caterina's!

Great location, a dip in the pool at the end of the day and a value for the same amenities, winning the island. Pia is a welcoming and helpful landlady, she gave me tips about the area and was flexible with a slightly early check-in. Restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy and supermarket are very close and the rest of the island is within a pleasant scooter ride. I would have preferred more clarity already in the listing on times to access the pool and gym. The kitchen equipment, especially if you stay more than a few days and therefore use it, can improve.

What a fabulous two week stay at 1Jardina, so relaxing and quiet. Accommodation was very private, comfortable, and very clean. Michela was the perfect host in every way, guiding us around Pantelleria. Pantelleria town and restaurants 10-15 minute drive away. Anyone looking for a switch off romantic holiday I highly recommend 1Jardina! Thank you Michela, hope to be back next year!

Location with great views. Outdoor space with a very pleasant garden. Very close to the sea. The district where the house is located, is located to the south of the island and is in our opinion the most beautiful as the sea and as nature.
