Monthly Rentals in Pant Mawr

Margaret was an incredibly responsive host who also popped in to say Hi and see if we had everything we needed! Thank you for the home baked treats as well. The cottage was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Margaret even provided extra wood for the open fire which was just poor bliss each evening. The area itself is stunning and so peaceful. Great for really just escaping into nature. Every room having its own bath /shower was so useful as we visited as two families with kids. The two separate lounges also meant the adults could have quiet evenings whilst the kids went a little crazy in the other lounge. The cottage is very warm and cosy. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay at James’s place. The remote location and brilliant views were exactly what we were after. The cottage was spotless and clearly put together with a lot of care and attention. All the little details had been thought through – we especially liked the heater in the conservatory, the herb garden, feather duvet, nice toiletries and quality crockery. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Even on a rainy day, we were happy staying in with the wood burner going. The garden was lovely and well kept, and even though the owners are next door, if you need them, the place felt really private because of the layout. James was an exceptional host – friendly, easy to talk to and gave us great tips for walks and places to eat. We really enjoyed lunch at Y Ffarmers on his recommendation – definitely book ahead! We normally never return to the same Airbnb, but we’ve already booked another stay in July - it’s that good! Absolutely recommend!

I lovely place to stay, and great location for walking. (I would recommend getting "Walks arounds Llanidloes" & "Walks around Rhayader" before coming - both by Kittiwake Books). And really nice being so close to the Blue Bell Inn - a friendly unpretentious pub. Will definitely return!

My stay in the Wagon was truly wonderful. The pictures don't do it justice, it's rustic and well thought out. No electricity in the cabin except for a solar reading light (which I didn't even use!). Water tap just outside. The hanging candlelights and supply of tea lights were super appreciated. It lit up beautifully at night. I sat up either inside with the log burner or outside with the fire. 2 ring gas hob so could cater for myself and fridgeration can be available the other side of the site (on request). Fran and Kevin were delightful hosts and I even got to meet the cutest lamb. Cambrian mountains nearby and about an hour to Snowdonia. This was perfect for my solo retreat for some rest & restoration. I'll definitely try to come back :) thank you Kevin & Fran for a lovely stay!!
