Rhonda was the ultimate host. She was so helpful. We also used their event center for my Father in laws 90th Birthday Party. Everything was perfect. This was probably the cleanest Air BnB we’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend it if you need a place to stay in Carthage.

The goats are the sweetest goats I’ve ever come in contact with. I grew up on a ranch, I’ve owned goats… These goats (and the kitty) are kid friendly. My son is terrified of cats, by the end of the stay he wanted to carry the cat home with us. We came for the animals and the outdoors experience which did not disappoint! We enjoyed every minute, especially the Bigfoot touches! Everything was perfect! Oh and don’t miss feeding the fish!! We loved that!

This was an absolute excellent find! Amanda is a lovely host and the care put into The Secret Cottage really shows. So much to see within this cottage. Very clear, exact directions, with instructions to arrive at check-in. Very well kept & super clean cottage. Well stocked with coffees, teas, creamers, hot chocolate, waffle mix, ice, & water. Wonderful mini kitchen with sink, 2 burners, dishwasher & fridge. Plenty of plates, bowls, utensils, napkins, etc. Variety of lighting options such as lamps, sheer curtains, big windows with shutters for extra privacy. Comfortable king size bed with a full couch at the end & a coffee table with 2 chairs for lounging. small dining table was perfect. The bathroom was spotless. Candles, towels, wash clothes, new sponges, small handmade soaps, etc. Entertainment center is top notch with lots of choices. Outdoor fireplace was delightful & Jay the lil'dog was just a joy to be around. Gorgeous garden. Very safe area. Very private. Flexible checkout.

It was a very beautiful place. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It is a large house that doesn’t have a lot of clutter. Every thing is just like the pictures.

Stayed for 4 days with family and extended family. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. Lots of parking as well. We had 4 cars, but could have fit 15 probably! Each room had plenty of space and there were plenty of full bathrooms. The living room, kitchen, and dining area also had ample room for our good size party of eight. Nice little back patio with a huge backyard (maybe 3/4 of an acre). The area was off the beaten path, but felt secure and was very peaceful amongst the various nearby farms. It was a bit away from the nearest town (approx. 20 min) so make sure you stop at the local Kroger to stock up on food and/or supplies. Lastly, our host was very helpful and communicative throughout the entire stay. We recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. Zero complaints. We loved it!

Jeremy's place was perfect for our family. We had a great time fishing and enjoying the lake. It's a place we will definitely rent again.

Denise’s Barn House was a clean, cozy, and super cute place to stay! Check-in and check-out were easy and smooth, with no issues at all. Communication was great—Denise was friendly, responsive, and easy to deal with throughout the stay. Everything was just as described, and the whole experience was hassle-free. I’d definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Comfy beds. Fences in backyard for the dogs. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was the perfect get away for us, our kids and grandkids. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boating, the fire pit, and the beautiful view. We would definitely come back to this quaint place. The hosts even had a personalized welcome for us! The kitchen was stocked with spices and thankfully coffee filter since we forgot ours! We made so many wonderful memories and I know the grandkids will be begging to go back!
