Waterfront vacation rentals in Page County

Robert's retreat is exactly what our family needed to get away from our ticky-tacky suburban lifestyle. Our dog could run free as could our kids. Yes it was colder/wetter than we hoped and being from the south put as at odds with nature but we enjoyed the wonderful wide open out doors in small sprints. From walking the hanging foot bridge over and over to teaching my girls to cast and reel their first rod. We lit a fire the first night and the negative ions had the effect i had hoped for. My kids read and relaxed for bedtime. Robert is the epitome of "hospitality " always a few minutes away via chat to answer questions and provide guidance. I did learn that the Airbnb policy indicates that it is incumbent on the renter to provide their own firewood. Robert was gracious enough to supply wood for our first night but something you should consider logistically if staying more than a day during winter. I'd originally booked two weeks but needed to extend a few days and that was easy peasy and I was glad to not have to pack up and find a new spot. The loft is terrific and will be our first choice whenever we are back in town. Thank you, Mj and family, for the exquisite thoughtfulness that went into every detail. Couldn't be happier with our trip!

Felt like the perfect getaway for us! It's a very private location but incredibly close to Culpeper that has awesome food and Sperryville which is more into the mountains to get those views. The hosts were very helpful and kind to us every step of the way and even gave us tips for kayaking in the lake. Such a lovely time and you can tell they go the extra mile with hosting by providing every possible thing you may need. HIGHLY recommend and will come back again too :)

Our family enjoyed our three nights at Ashley and Pam's house. It has a beautiful location and is well appointed with every possible amenity we could need. We really appreciated the little touches like the snack basket. The river is calm and made for easy paddling with the provided kayaks and canoes. We also made extensive use of the hot tub and enjoyed the views while relaxing.

We had a large group at the compound by the swinging bridge for New Years and it was absolutely ideal! We played games by the fire place, cooked delicious meals, relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, danced and watched movies in the game room, laughed around the fire pits, played frisbee in the lawn, and watched an incredible double rainbow over the river after a thunderstorm. The beds were very comfortable and the vibe was cozy and lived in. Taki was great to communicate with and we’re very thankful to him and his family for creating such a sanctuary. We definitely hope to return!

We had a fantastic stay. The property felt like home and it’s located in a beautiful spot right on the river. The host was amazing and provided us all the information we needed. We truly had an amazing time.

This is a wonderful home with lots of history. The house is nicely modernized, comfortable for large groups, and has tons of outdoor space. Great for family meals, reading by the fire, and everything you hope from a country retreat.

There are no negatives to list for this amazing home! And the positives are endless. This house has everything you would need, it's a true home away from home, but surrounded in beauty and nature. Beyond clean, comfortable, and gorgeous views.... there are just so many adjectives one could use to describe this property. Everything was like a thoughtful welcome. Snacks, smores goodies, firewood, lighter fluid, toothbrush, makeup wipes...I could go on and on. They have thought of everything one might need to feel right at home. The drive there is just as amazing. If you turn right out of the driveway you are literally seconds from the most jaw dropping view I've ever seen. First place I've stayed where everything worked as it should, even the hot tub! Make sure to check out Skyline drive and bring your fishing poles! Cannot wait to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend away with family! Very accommodating for family with kiddos! The location is perfect with a beautiful stream and walking path directly across the street. Walkable to Main St and many restaurants and Luray attractions! The house was clean and spacious. We will definitely be back again!
