1 week agoWe loved our stay at the Haskell house, so special to stay in a 1600s home that has been renovated with a lot of care. We appreciated the modern updates, great kitchen and bathrooms. The house is even better in person and the surrounding marshlands are very beautiful, lots of wildlife. Location is great, very close to Essex and Cape Ann. Would stay again anytime!

3 weeks agoStayed 3 nights in the full house, 6 guests. We were very comfortable with lots of space and all modern comfort. Great stay with lots of memories made for the whole family. House is beautifully preserved and makes for a great discovery when you arrive. Full kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crookery, allows cooking like at home. Beautiful yard with pretty and pleasant covered area for eating outside or just lounging, surrounded by the salt marsh. We loved it!

3 weeks agoIt was perfect for our family. A private, peaceful little corner amidst the hustling summertime Cape Ann. We loved it as a base for beach and Boston adventures. It was the perfect quiet place to come “home” to. We also loved getting to step back in time and get a taste of what New England was like in the 17th Century, with all the modern amenities. It is incredible the work, care and attention that went into balancing both of those things. It had everything we needed and I don’t think we could have found a place to give us a better experience for our vacation.

April 2026We had an excellent time staying at Natalie’s house. It was amazing to be able to stay in such a historic home. It felt like being in a living museum. We brought our staff for our event and they had in a great experience, Living in the past. Natalie let us check in early and was super easy about it

March 2026Truly a special home. My friends and I stayed here for a few days while on a multi city roadtrip and all of us unanimously agreed that we wish we could stay longer! Despite the nervousness I initially had about staying in such an older, historic home, expecting to feel a bit out of my element, our experience couldn't have been more of the opposite. Very cozy and welcoming with just the right amount of modern conveniences to make the historical elements of the home feel very natural to be in. The host was friendly and responsive and it's clear that they've put in a lot of love and work into this home. Would book this place again in a heartbeat!
