Staying at Peace On The Prairie Too feels like coming home after a long day to kick back and relax. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave the hosts are very responsive and helpful. The trails surrounding the property are beautiful and easy to navigate. At night the sky glistens with stars. Not to mention the fresh baked cookies Jaime has waiting for you upon arrival, are to die for. I would definitely recommend for a nice weekend away with or without family. Kevin and Jaime are exceptional hosts.

Super nice and cool place!

The Peace on the Prairie is unique and absolutely beautiful. The house is very welcoming with everything needed like homemade cookies (delicious), coffee, tea, bug spray, spices, etc. Kevin and Jaimie were always available to answer questions, chat and give us ideas of what to do in the area. Our large dog was with us and enjoyed being off-leash. It was relaxing to wander around the large prairie with all the trails, or just sit on the house deck listening to the nature's happenings. We stayed several nights and the king bed was very comfortable. The full size kitchen allows for convenient meals at home. The house is in a rural area but only 15 min from Jacksonville - an easy drive for groceries, farmers' market, restaurants. Lots of antique stores, nature areas, state park within an hour drive. Springfield is also not too far as we explored more of the history of Illinois. We truly enjoyed our vacation and the Tiny House will stay on the list of properties to revisit!

It was a very quiet and peaceful vacation that was located in a homey tiny house and perfect for our family including the dogs! Great place and no one wanted to leave.
