1 week agoThis house was everything we could have needed for our group golf trip. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep with some sort of privacy. Great common areas for the group to hang out together. Loved that they had a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans, utensils, seasonings, coffee, etc. We plan to stay at this place again next year!

The Airbnb served its purpose for my family getaway, but we were disappointed by some aspects. I don't want to bash anyone, but I think some constructive criticism is required.
Pros
* Nice location
* House comfortably fit 10 people & 1 infant
* Host was responsive
* Laundry smelled good
* Nice kitchen stocked with cookware & dishes
* Fast Wi-Fi and Roku TV
Cons
* The electronic lock to the front door was broken, so we had to access the home from a back door that also had a broken lock. The front door only stayed closed when deadbolted, otherwise it fell open.
* Heat was broken for the first day and a half of our stay
* Air mattress listed as a "double bed"
* Cot listed as "single bed"
* Broken window in bedroom
* Broken mirror in bedroom
* Light switches hidden by furniture
* Trash and children's' toys left in the lawn and pond
* In general, much more run-down than the photos depicted
* Creepy shed "bedroom" out back with dirty mattress & upside-down pineapple...
