My boys (12 and 15) and I made reservations for the small container home over spring break, but Matthew reached out a few days before our stay to let us know that some high winds had caused a bit of damage to the container home, and it wouldn’t be fixed by the time we arrived. He kindly and very generously offered to let us stay at the main house for no additional charge so that we could still enjoy our planned vacation. Amazing! We absolutely loved the property, which is lit up beautifully at night and is kitschy and country and comfortable in all the best ways. The decor of the home was unique and fun, and the fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking dinners in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again without hesitation. And we fell in love with the goats. So friendly and funny. Matthew was the same when we met him. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this colorful and restful respite from the city.
