September 2020Beautiful, very tasteful, eclectic and well equipped house in a quiet spot in north Norfolk - this is a lovely place for a couple of families to holiday together. No phone signal, making for an extra peaceful break..! Check with the owner that the wifi is working if you need connectivity.
We did some great night sky stargazing in the garden - there's no light pollution meaning the skies here on a clear night are stunning. Also - do your own research on good restaurants/ shops/ things to do before you arrive, as the house doesn't currently have any written info or guidance. All in all though this is a great place to holiday - recommended.

May 2017This is probably one of the loveliest places we have stayed as a family. The barn is in the most beautiful setting with uninterrupted views of the countryside. The windows from the living space open out fully onto a walled patio area, where we were able to make the most of the early summer weather and watch the children play on the lawn. Summer flowers were in full bloom, surrounding the garden with the most amazing scent and in early evening we watched the resident barn owls fly past.
The barn is very spacious and there was plenty of room for 4 adults, 4 children and 1 baby. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the children enjoyed their big comfortable beds and bunk beds.
There is lots to do in the area as it's really close to the north Norfolk coast. We visited Brancaster beach and had a fantastic meal at the Victoria Inn at Holkham.
We wished we could have stayed longer.
Thank you Henry for a wonderful stay. We hope to return again soon!

November 2016The barn was a fantastic find on Airbnb. It was more than suitable for our party of 7 adults and 2 kids. The facilities are great, underfloor heating, log burner, sauna! The kitchen is well appointed and the other touches simply make this a great place to stay and relax.
We loved the eclectic book selection and pondered what adventures the host had been on.
Tatterford is a lovely quiet village and as such it was very peaceful.
Our only regret is that we didn't see the resident barn owl.
A wonderful stay and we would have no hesitation in booking this beautiful barn again.
