The host was kind but it took well over a day to receive responses, which may be an issue for short term stays. There were few amenities in the kitchen, including at best two pieces of cutlery per item (2 spoons, 2 forks, etc.). The pictures made it look a little nicer than it was as far as decorations. There needed to be blackout or darker curtains in the bedroom, as the lights from the street were very bright at night. The air conditioning cut off in the middle of the night of a number of occasions. The floor itself it “non smoking” yet it smells of smoke and weed. The place could also use a spray for cockroaches (it’s more normal in an old apartment but there were a couple occasions that could be avoided by spraying for bugs). Overall, not a terrible stay but I could easily have paid for a nice place in Memphis for a month for the same price; its appeal was that it was available on short notice.
