Beautiful space, great view, best coffee setup you'll find, shower is excellent, and overall a perfect spot for our first visit to PGH. Highly recommend.

The house is in an excellent location with great amenities. It was somewhat difficult to get the sauna going due to poorly responsive touchpad, but ultimately we were able to use it. The host was very responsive to any and all questions at all hours. There is a decibel detector, which sends automated messages for noise above 75 dB. Unfortunately, the acoustics in the house reverberate as there is little to dampen sound. 10 people talking at normal conversational volume with the TV on led to incessant automated messages and phone calls. No sound could be heard outside of the house or even in the rooms on the second floor. I would recommend setting the decibel detector to a more realistic volume for the space and number of guests expected at the property.

Chad's place in Pittsburgh was great for a weekend for me and my parents to explore the city. Although the area just directly south might be a little 'rough' (Ohio Street), the apartment itself was really very nice on the inside. Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of things and the amenities listed (towels, shampoo, hairdryer etc.) were plentiful / nice / in great condition. Overall quality of what they've done with the place is very nice. It's also close to a very nice park for walking, and a nice walk to through the park to many nice boutique restaurants. The last item I would like to emphasize is how great a host Chad is. Whether the neighborhood is your cup of tea or not, it is indisputable that Chad's service is among the highest quality you can find at AirBnB. I believe he has other locations too; so if you ever find something managed by him, you will not be disappointed. Friendly, proactive, helpful - you name it. Best in class.
