As someone with a stressful job, I found it very rejuvenating to unplug and enjoy the magnificent sierras in such a calm and peaceful place. I needed some alone time in nature and Quail cabin is perfect for that. Cristobal is not only an attentive host, but struck me as a genuinely kind and caring person. I look forward to coming back again, this time bringing my family to enjoy what I was able to experience. Thank you, Cristobal!

Cris and Lynda were very communicative lovely people, and the land was spectacularly beautiful. Grateful for Cris helping me put snow chains on, and them lending us tools to clear over 3 feet of snow covering our car. Dealing with digging all manner of things out of the snow felt like a nice bonding moment—we were all in it! This is a small detail, but I found it unusual that the closets had their personal items in them, and thus felt off limits. To be respectful, I steered clear of them, and it did add a layer of worry about my 6yo boys getting in there while playing hide and seek, and messing up any of their things. Other than that concern, we didn’t particularly need the closets, so that’s not something I personally felt bothered by. We were there to be on the land, grateful to have a warm, safe, relaxing place to return to from snow adventures, and all other aspects of our stay were great. Thank you Cris and Lynda!
