We were looking for a peaceful retreat like space while we were spending time between South Haven and Kalamazoo during a rather stressful trip. This home was just what we needed. Midway between the two cities, it was a perfect, relaxing sanctuary. So many lovely little touches like a gift basket of fudge, popcorn, and pancake mix. The home was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We truly enjoyed our stay!

My family and I enjoyed a truly wonderful experience at Clara Lucille’s farmstead. The host was very communicative and hospitable, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was a perfect combination of proximity to South Haven and Benton Harbor, but also felt like an escape to the quiet and peaceful countryside. The views were relaxing, looking out at the red barns and fields-we even spotted wildlife from time to time. What stood out to us the most was the amount of thought that went into helping us feel welcome-it was the small things such as the coffee bar, welcome basket, the amount of towels provided, the toys for the kids, the cooking equipment, etc. The thought that went into the small details was truly appreciated. We hope to make many more visits!
