Tui was an exceptional host. From the first moment, he made us feel very welcome and was always willing to help us. He was very kind and flexible with us on the last day, storing our luggage so we could enjoy our last day without worries. In addition, he gave us excellent recommendations for the area and was really interested in his guests having the best experience possible. You can tell that he enjoys what he does and that he cares about the well-being of those who stay with him. The room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the decorations, since many of them are made by him, which gives the place a very authentic touch. The location is also excellent, right in front of Pontal beach, in a very nice area to enjoy Paraty. We would definitely stay here again. Hospitality, kindness, easy walking access to the Historic Center.

Overall, the place was good in terms of value for money. Location was great, host was helpful, the room was clean. However, if you are coming during weekend, you need to consider noise from the beach. It is crowded and people having party out loud. There were also some issues with the amenities in the room: the coffee maker wasn't working, and the cord on the kettle was too short to use; we had to make do somehow. Other than that it was a good experience.

The accommodation is beautiful, surrounded by a beautiful environment, beachfront, but you can also tell that it has been designed with every detail in mind. Also, Marcus and Tui were very kind. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Canoa and loved Paraty.
