Anne’s house was incredible. She was there to greet us, gave great recommendations, and was very friendly. The house was equally great. What a view! The place was spotless as well, with milk and a nice assortment of fruit provided. We couldn’t have been happier!

Love love love everything about this home. The views, the animals, the conversations. Everything was like a fairytale. The fruit from the farm was delicious (even tried a new type of fruit I’d never had!), the tub was perfect for a nice relaxing soak after being at the beach all day. Will be coming back here when I visit NZ again. 11/10

Fabulous place to stay! Great location. The house was very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen with every thing you need. There is a lovely outdoor area out the front and the spa was a luxury. There are three good sized bedrooms, the beds are quite firm, but fine for a short stay. Gina and George are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

Due to family circumstances, we weren’t able to appreciate the home enough but would definitely book again if we get the chance. Loved the lay out and everything we needed was there and certainly value for money. Great and instant response from Nadine when we communicated.

We had planned to stay a few years ago but sadly Covid stopped our plans so it had been a long time coming and it did not disappoint in the slightest! The location was perfect and the house was spacious and grand yet had cosy areas to sit around the fire, all the games the kids could dream of a a chefs dream kitchen! Not to mention the spa and the wonderful bath for those of us that wanted to simply relax! We have already booked again and can’t wait! What a find xx

The location was great in the middle of town , half a block from beach access and walkable to great restaurants and brew pub. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked , multiple areas to gather out side and a hot tub to enjoy after the beach. A good choice for family fun with beach equipment and water sport equipment provided.

The view from this property is absolutely breathtaking, making for an unforgettable stay. The host was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Their tips and insights really enhanced my experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for stunning scenery and excellent hospitality!

The place was very accommodating, and Ngaire was really kind. The location was great with a beautiful view, making the stay very relaxing. Overall, it was a lovely stay!

Sharon was a friendly, informative host from the outset. The privacy of her place along with its amenities were perfect for our situation. We would not look to book elsewhere if in Whangamata again.

We loved staying in the bus - love the 70s arts n crafts revival features like the leadlight windows and original art nouveau dresser. The kitchen building is well designed, so that it is somehow warm despite being slightly open to the elements. The "stairs" were a little daunting at first, but I was confidently trotting up and down by day 2. This is a camping experience with hard surfaces - if you like to go camping, you will love this. It was lovely having the fire going, and super relaxed. Really enjoyed the presence of fantails, tui and a grey warbler. Lovely bush walks close by and the local pub/hotel does a really good dinner. It rained lightly while we were there, but because most of the bus-to-wharepaku-to-kitchen track is via the bush, it's quite dry and sheltered. It was nice being off-grid, with enough wifi in the kitchen to send and receive messages - it did struggle with sending photos or accessing larger web pages. A lovely environment to sit and read and take naps.

A lovely experience at Jacqui’s place. Exactly as described in the photos. Kitchen very well stocked with utensils, cooking equipment etc. Dedicated parking near the unit. As we were there in May we didn’t use the pool. A short drive to the numerous shops and restaurants. A lovely beach that would be popular in the warmer months. Would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Debbie’s! The accommodation was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Lovely spacious apartment. Clean and tidy with everything needed. Short walk (a minute or two) to a lovely beach. Short drive away from the many great restaurants we discovered in Whitianga.

Closely drivable to town for anything you may need, but an amazing view from this side of town! Perfect little place. Well kept and everything you need inside. Would love to come stay again!

Place is bigger than it appears. Beds comfy. Step free entrance. Great outdoor area undercover just in front of front door. Access to pool also just outside the front entrance. Ensuite bathroom, kitchen dining and lounge on ground level. 2 bathroom entrances to bathroom downstairs, via bedroom and via beside stairs. Approx 14 internal steps up to the 2 bedrooms and 2nd bathroom. Park right outside the accommodation. Steph at Yoga Whitianga was amazing. Instantly at my side when out of position despite I awaiting hip and knee replacement. Roze from Massage from the Heart made herself available, Monday morning but found unexpectedly we had to leave extra early. Very accommodating. Must go to Kufe Bar & Eatery overlooking the beach, sea, sky ... stunning together with the friendly service. Awesome quirky Garden Bar to go to for brekkie. Coffee excellent

My husband, my friend and I very much enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It was as described, situated conveniently near both the beach and town. Especially appreciated was a second bathroom. John responded promptly to a query or two and offered helpful suggestions. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay there again.
