A CASA CHJUCA, a dream cottage in the mountains

A detached house, rentable by the night (three nights minimum), breathtaking panorama, overlooking village and valley. Rest and relaxation assured in a beautiful area. Mountain hikes and river swimming accessible on foot. No shops in the village but 3 restaurants plus a pizzeria. Bocce ball games in the village square in the late afternoon. We stayed for 5 days in both properties with our family. As a result, we had the whole garden to ourselves, which was pleasant. The houses are tastefully decorated and everything you need is there for a nice stay. It is nice that there are well-functioning screens, because there are many mosquitoes outside in the evening. In the area itself, especially the hills and mountains as a hinterland for hiking and cycling. Marie-Agnes is a very pleasant host and thinks along pleasantly.

We were looking for tranquility and the specialness of Corsica - and that's what we found there. We are not hiking enthusiasts (but they get their money's worth there). We were just looking for peace and seclusion. The property is not visible and absolutely unique. We were on the road for several days by car, but it takes time to reach one or the other destination. On average, you need approx. 40 minutes to the nearest major supermarket, approx. 50 minutes to the next great sandy beach. We were in Porto despite the distance. Very worth seeing and absolutely unique. If you choose this place, you get the necessary recreational value in Corsica. We're super happy to have been there. It was just perfect for us and Jean and his wife were absolutely delightful!

Beautiful villa, modern, spacious and offering very nice services. The 180-degree view of Bodri Bay and these sunsets over the sea are breathtaking. Dume is very welcoming and responsive to our requests. We went to his restaurant several times, which is excellent. We recommend it without a second thought!

Christophe and Corinne’s place was great to stay at and peaceful. The house is well equipped and we cooked some delicious meals. Corinne and Christophe are excellent hosts and gave some awesome tips for during our stay and for our next stops in Corsica. One point that got lost in translation was that to use the jacuzzi you have to pay extra. This was cleared out easily with our hosts and was not an issue. We loved our stay.

The room was as described in the pictures and description. We had a great view of the river flowing to the sea. The entire place was clean and we had everything we needed. The harbor and beach are a few minutes' walk away, where there are great restaurants to admire the sunset.

Charming cottage between sea and mountain

Dume was an extremely friendly host who provided us with many tips for possible activities. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you might need. Dume even provided fruits and Corsican specialties for us, we felt very welcome!! We had some bad luck with the weather during our short stay and had to spend more time in the house because of thunderstorms, as it was almost a bit dark for us, but in nice summer weather the area offers an abundance of possible hikes and other interesting excursions.
