Catherine’s accommodation is extremely homely and in beautiful surroundings. Not too close to the town but not too far either. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and attentive to her guests. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we even stayed an extra night.

We very much enjoyed our stay and wish we could have spent more time here. So appreciated Karyn’s flexibility with check in as we ran quite late getting to the property. The walk through and personal directions with things in the house were very helpful. Grateful to have some breakfast items, fruit and treats left in the unit. And we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Beautiful location for a restful stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Beautiful modern farmhouse with prime location that was only a 30 minute walk to the Cliffs of Moher. Really enjoyed reading, looking at the cows and relaxing here. The hot tub was also a nice touch.

A wonderful place to stay! John was very friendly & it was very helpful to have him greet us upon arrival to explain how to run the hot water & radiators. Our family loved the house & the morning greetings from the donkeys. Highly recommend staying here & we'll cherish our memories of the old schoolhouse for years to come.

This was our second stay at Mark’s Eden Retreat Cottage. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we came again this year. The size was perfect for a small group of friends on a combined business and leisure trip. We love the spacious kitchen and especially the little fireplace. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and just a short trip into town for supplied, pubs, busses, shopping, etc. Last year we used the hottub but this year it was out of service. Mark notified us in advance of this and compensated us for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much.. Mark is a great communicator! Will stay again. Thank you!

Such a beautiful property, exactly as the host described. Very clean, spacious and private. Jim was so helpful and went above and beyond for us! I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

I had an excellent one month stay in Mandy’s quaint, and very comfortable cottage. My host was kind and helpful in every way. I did not have a car, but between the convenient nearby bus and Mandy’s offer to take me to the grocery store and to help with other needs, it worked out beautifully. There are wonderful nearby walks to the rocky beach and to the cliffs, but the most spectacular part for me was the ever changing wide open sky from the front patio of this cottage perched on the hill, I could not have made a better choice!

The cottage is situated in a great location, close to beautiful lakes and mountains to hike, including the one located right behind it! The cottage is really comfortable and cosy. The fire keeps the main areas warm, but the central heating works great, if you need it. There are also electrical radiators in every room as an option. The kitchen is well equipped, with pans and pots and all the cutlery you could need. We really didn't miss anything! There was a kettle, a toaster and even a coffee machine! Also, the toilet has a hairdryer, if you need it. The access to the second floor may be difficult for very young children, but the big cottage has a comfortable bedroom downstairs, which is a great option in these cases. My girlfriend had a chance to talk to William and said that he was absolutely lovely. He made every effort for us to be comfortable, cleaning the fireplace every day. We absolutely love this place. It was our second time here and we will definitely be back again.

Wonderful location and Ed's cottage was perfectly equipped to meet all our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and local amenities . Would thoroughly recommend for a peaceful stay in this beautiful area

John's place was a great spot to stay at during our trip to western Ireland to visit the Cliffs of Moher. John was very responsive and gave excellent instructions on how to find the place since we were arriving quite late at night. He proactively mentioned that restaurants would likely be closed, and listed some alternatives so that we could get some dinner before it got too late. I would highly recommend John's place to anyone looking to explore the area (ex. Cliffs of Moher or Doolin's Cave) and would have loved to spend some more time at The Stables.

Quiet accommodation, well equipped, and Anne always available by message to answer our questions. Environment with convenience store nearby for urgent needs lol and petrol. Friendly owners who don't spoil anything. We didn't see the neighborhood too much as we were on a getaway during the day. Heating warms great. The roads are narrow for us French and we took some time to reach Connemara. Otherwise Galway is 50 minutes away and many other places for about the same distance are to visit. If you just want to rest and calm it's nice. Thanks Anne, maybe look forward to it!

We had a lovely stay at Rory’s place. It was quiet and calm and had beautiful views of be surrounding countryside. The house was well equipped, spacious and clean and we all felt at home. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and we thoroughly enjoyed the homemade Guinness and treacle bread! We had two meals at Power’s Thatch pub in Oughterard and highly recommend it as well as drive west to Clifden and a drive along the Sky Road! We had a great first stay in Ireland and will be back.

The house was in a great location, well maintained, and the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The power happened to go out during a storm and they kindly sent over some food to make sure we had what we needed. Lovely place and the Aran Islands were beautiful to visit!

We had a wonderful time at Stephanie‘s house. The house was very clean and cozy, Stephanie was very kind and helpful. The area around is very beautiful with lots of things to do. Thank you so much for everything

Host had some great local knowledge about live music nearby, cliffs of moher, and local oysters. The place is small but well organized.

My only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer! Beautiful place and host was the kindest!

Fantastic stay in a superb place. Facilities were excellent with plenty of space including a play area. Provisions there were brilliant including scones. We had a breakdown during our stay and Barbara couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Thank you for a great stay and looking after us all. We will be back.

Quiet loft in super private setting on large grounds of family home. Lots of thoughtful touches. Easy place for a nice stopover just outside Nenah. Thanks to Eilis and family!

The house was exactly what I was expecting. No surprises! Peter was very responsive and came over to help me get the heat going. He’s extremely personable and a fun guy to be around. I can’t recommend this listing more highly. It was in a beautiful and peaceful setting, which is exactly what I was looking for. And it was a perfect base for me to explore the surrounding area and countryside. I look forward to going back in the future!
