Vacation rentals with beach access in Opua

This apartment was absolutely brilliant! We only meant to stay a few night but ended up staying more! Kelly was very helpful, and the apartment was perfectly placed in Russell. It had all of the amenities that we needed. We loved it! Thanks Kelly.

Lovely property with everything you could need! Deborah was a fantastic host - incredibly friendly and kind! 5 mins walk to Hihi beach and town only a short 10-15min drive away this is a perfect spot to explore the area. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m back in the area. Many thanks indeed for letting me stay!

Lovely place nestled in the hills of Russell. Little drive into the main town but nice relaxed area. Place was spacious. There are a few other rooms but not really an issue. Views are great.

Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Wendy’s place in Paihia was wonderful! It is in a prime location with parking included, and provides easy access to wharf, restaurants and shopping. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thank you Wendy!

We had such a fantastic stay. The amenities were fantastic, great views and we all felt right at home. Thank you for all the lovely touches of the Easter eggs and home baking too. It was the perfect place to stay in the lead up to our wedding.

This was the perfect place for our family reunion of 14 people including kids to stay. The property has a great space in the kitchen, dining and living area to hang out and beautiful comfortable rooms for all of us. It was stunning to wake up to a view of the ocean each morning. Having the 2 large fridges between the butler pantry and kitchen was extremely helpful. Plus the sleepout is a great additional space to use too. We loved being able to easily walk to the beach and explore the rock pools, some of us even braving the ocean coolness to swim. Alan was a great host, always responsive and helpful, thank you! We loved it there.

We had a fantastic stay! The location is incredible and the beach is stunning. Henry was an excellent host - communication was friendly, prompt and informative. The bed was comfy and you can't beat falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night.

Really cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood. Quite close to the beach and the center town to Whangarei is an easy 20min drive. Love that we were able to find a place that is friendly for pets!

Whilst it is a modest home, it has everything needed for an affordable, relaxing and enjoyable time away. Couple minutes walk to a lovely beach, kiwi and other native birds literally across the road, host guided us on the first night and was full of knowledge. A real treat that the kids (and parents) really enjoyed. House has all the amenities you would expect. We self catered and had all we needed. Good shower, washer & dryer, good deck with sea views, comfortable living area and comfy beds. Really was great value for money and would happily stay again. If you want 5 star there’s plenty in the area at 5 star prices, but this place offers fantastic bang for buck (save dollars and use for a tour or activity). The Hokianga sand dunes are so beautiful from the south side of the harbour and even in Autumn this stay gave us the best unobstructed views, lapping waters, and a peaceful, relaxing place to take some well-earned time out. The house was pristine and perfect for our group of six, plenty of room and well-designed for everyone to be alone or be together as they wished. The hosts were responsive, helpful and proactive with communications and accommodated us when we accidentally booked the wrong date and then added some people. Just lovely.

This is the most beautiful house in the most stunning of locations. You will never get tired of the views 😍 Donna was amazing as our host and we will absolutely be returning.

The most serene beautiful location. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but best brekkie and coffee just steps from the door and a general store a couple of minutes away with everything you could need. Bed to die for, luxury linens and towels. Possibly the cleanest place EVER. thank you gavin, a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

Linda is a very responsive and helpful host and the place is very comfortable and well-equipped. Lots of little extras made us feel right at home.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay
