Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oppland

I stayed one night with my wife and 11-year-old son in Gry's house. Very nice and very large house... a little cold on arrival but the ground floor with living room and kitchen warmed up immediately with the wood stoves. The bedrooms upstairs were a little cool but with the blankets provided we had no trouble sleeping. Gry was always very kind and would have allowed us, if necessary, to stay even after checkout time... Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the opportunity to take a boat ride on the river due to bad weather. Recommended!! Thanks Gry, from Giacomo, Alessia and Marco.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Beautiful location and surroundings!!!

Tina's home had everything a family of four needs for a pleasant stay at Lillehammer. The house was clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed themselves in the garden and played in the local kindergarten in the afternoons. Walking distance to large Kiwi shop, and only 2 km to Lillehammer city center. Highly recommend renting from Tina, and is happy to rent from her again on the next occasion.

Nice place, nice host

Marit’s home is in a lovely location overlooking the lake with mountains in the background. We spent the week skiing at Hafjell which was about 25 mins easy drive from the house. The house is lovely, comfortable and spacious and filled with light. Also extremely cosy and well insulated! We cooked most of our meals in the excellent kitchen and i can’t think of anything we lacked! We all slept very well and our kit dried very quickly in the toasty utility room. Marit was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and activities and we were very sad that tobogganing was cancelled because it got too warm! Overall a great family home in an excellent location with a very welcoming host. Thank you Marit!

We had a great weekend at Ellen's house. The house was cozy and met expectations. Idyllic space and cozy host. Recommended!

We had a great stay at Kike's apartment, which was very nicely located with a short distance to the hill.

A wonderful apartment in a beautiful location. Equipped with everything you need and more. Clean, warm and a fabulous shower. Anne and Clarence’s instructions and information were clear, concise and detailed. They also made sure to communicate during our stay to make sure everything was ok. Definitely on the small list of places i would stay at again. Highly recommend.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

We have stayed i. Sveinar’s apartment many times over the years and it remains as good as ever. A stunning apartment in a stunning location. It has become a firm favourite for a winter getaway and we just hope we can keep on coming back for many years to come.

We enjoyed our stay very much - the house is very cosy and you can feel like home. The house is in walking distance to the public transport, the main road with shops and restaurants and a supermarket. The communication with Petter was very friendyl and informative. Thank you very much!

beautiful house in a beautiful location.

Beautiful location. Is a true farm house setup separate from, but right next to the main house (which is host occupied, I believe). Is rustic with some nice updates (eg. bathroom). Lots of space - very comfortable for 4 of us and with room outside to exercise 2 big dogs. close to ski trails, very convenient to the airport, and less than an hour to the heart of Oslo.

Excellent base for large family or small family if you want to be in Hamar and surroundings.

We had a great time at Kristin and Lars's. The house is well located (with many skiing opportunities nearby), very spacious and has beautiful views of the farm and surrounding countryside. For ten years, we have been traveling regularly to Norway and Scandinavia, and this is one of the best places we have had. Kristin is a very welcoming host, with whom it is very pleasant to communicate. She did everything to make our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

Nice place, great for a weekend getaway. The surroundings are pleasant and the location allows you to get some privacy. The number of bathrooms is short (only 2 for up to 16 guests), and the main gate is a bit inconvenient. The terrace and the jacuzzi are delightful! Renata was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
