I had an amazing stay at Alan’s Airbnb! The property was exactly as described—clean, and spacious enough to comfortably house all of my guests. The view was absolutely incredible, truly beyond words, and made the stay unforgettable. The location was perfect, with easy access to the private beach. Stunning view, amazing value. Enjoyed taking the walkable path down to the beach a few times to get our feet wet and explore the tide pools teeming with life This property is also well situated for a day trip on the water with Dive Tutukaka. But we spent most of the time sitting outside on the deck, taking it all in. Highly recommend this location, one of the best AirBNBs we've ever stayed at.

My partner and I have traveled around the world and this is hands down our favourite AirBnB we have ever stayed at. Lyndsay and Maurice greeted us upon arrival and provided a quick tour showcasing their beautiful home which photos don’t do justice. The views are incredible and the location is perfect near the water. The house comes very well equipped for cooking, relaxing and just all around enjoyment. Our corgi loved the fenced in yard and easy access to the beach! The paddle boards and kayak were heaps of fun to escape the summer heat on the water and if the heat got a bit too much the AirCon was lovely to have. We would HIGHLY recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a quiet beach getaway while still having activities close by!

What can I say about this paradise? the pictures certainly will catch your eye more than anything I can say. Anneke was very helpful and friendly and her lovely home was exactly as she described it. Being able to hear the waves crash, and the birds chirping, and seeing all the stars at night were some of my favorite things! It is a great place to stay as a baseball of operations for exploring Northland New Zealand! We hope to be back someday!

An awesome space and we'll thought out. Weather was raining but the accomodation was nice and snuggly so it didn't matter to us.

Everything was perfect! From the very comfortable bed to a great shower! We loved the quirky interior, so many nice touches. “Esmeralda” is a lovely place, nice and quiet and just a few km from Paihia, would 100% recommend!

Cute, private room on the main house with a nice view. Everything was how photos and description described it. There were kayaks for use--I kind of wish I had more time there that I would've been able to utilize them.

The location is lovely, right next to a main rain to climb and opposite a beach, with another beautiful beach just 7 minutes drive away. One person needs to go through another person's room to get to the toilet, it didn't bother us as one is a heavy sleeper.

Jan's place was amazing, we felt right at home when we arrived. My sister and me loved all the extra touches, the delicious homemade cookies, tasty granola, fresh fruit and water in the fridge. Jan was an awesome host checking in with us, giving us recommendation and making us feel so welcome. The location of the Air BnB is right at the beach so you always hear the crashing waves when going to bed or waking up in the morning which is so relaxing and calming. We were blessed with awesome weather during our stay, so sunrise and sunsets were a fabulous sight to watch from the beach or the yard! Very quiet little bay to relax at but also easy to explore Whale Bay, Whangarai and other beaches from. Can't wait to return, the water is so clear as well, no wonder it is one of the best diving/snorkelling spots in NZ!

The Otehei apartment is just as listed - beautiful with luxurious & comfortable furnishings! The apartment is super clean. It’s one of those places that make it hard to leave and go about your daily activities, as it’s many windows and skylights create a bright & relaxing space. Very clear instructions for arrival & easy check-in.

The views from the deck were incredible, we saw the most amazing orange and pink sunrise and sunsets overlooking the Whangārei harbour nestled amongst native bush with tuī and birdsong. So close to many beautiful beach walks, bays & conveniently close to Whangārei. Lovely clean apartment with everything you need. Thanks again it was such a relaxing weekend away.

Loved our stay at Linda’s Airbnb. The window view towards the sea was absolutely stunning and we enjoyed using the hot tub and the fire pit for toasting marshmallows. The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Linda is a friendly and responsive host. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us, thank you Linda!

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

Amazing place. Such incredible views over the sea. Met with the owner who gave us lots of recommendations including how to get to their own mermaid pool! Loved we were able to walk around the vineyard, visit the llamas, donkeys and pigs too! The pool was great and my little one loved swimming it. We were given some milk and their own wine to sample which was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed.

Had a great time staying at Louisa’s place! The place was beautifully decorated and had a gorgeous view out to the water. The place had everything we needed and Louisa was very responsive to any questions we had. She sent a beautiful welcome package with recommendations for things to do in the area and from it we found Salt Air Tours and ended up doing a scenic flight to Cape Reigna (highly recommend!) instead of driving. We also enjoyed the visits from Marlo, the friendly, floofy orange cat that came to the house in the evenings. I only have great things to say about our stay and highly recommend staying here when visiting Paihia!

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!
