Hyssop Lake Access Cabin Tent @Wild Woods Hideaway

ThomasRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We enjoyed our stay at Wild Woods Hideaway! The grounds are thoughtfully laid out. Our girls ages 6-9 had the time of their lives. There were boats, trails, fire pits, saunas and more! The location is perfect if you want/need to head into Kenora, but also off the beaten path. There were dishes, stove, gas, and water all conveniently placed to camp without headache. We would highly recommend to others or return if we are on this side of the country👍🏼

Just bring your clothes, firewood and food. one of the nicest retreats i have been on. temperature inside was also just right this time of year. we are very excited to comeback- I didnt want to leave. thank you Ellen!

The tent and accommodations were perfect to spend the night in after a long days ride on motorcycles! The hosts were very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know for our stay. It was a colder night, but the beds and comforters were very warm and cozy! :)

Water-access campsite with cabin

KirbyRating, 5 stars20 months ago
This off grid cabin is a fantastic location for those looking to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Nine Mile Lake. The lake is stunning, the cabin is very comfortable for sleeping, and the outdoor living/dining space is great. There are limited cottages on this lake so there is little boat traffic. The cabin is very private which really gives you a sense of escape. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to the outdoor enthusiast looking for a comfortable glamping experience! Note, the property is rugged so it would be difficult to navigate if you have mobility issues.

Thanks Nancy! This place was so cozy and clean, we loved the location and the amenities felt like camping luxury. The sauna was a highlight in the evening as we saw a gorgeous moon rise while using it! The mini bbq was also amazing. Thanks and we hope to come back again.

Such a relaxing way to enjoy the outdoors. Kaitlyn’s Glamping provided us with the perfect place to rest and prepare for our weekend Marathon that was just minutes away. Perhaps next summer we will find another local activity to return to this peaceful place.

Hillcrest Glamorous Camping in secluded woods.

FernandoRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We absolutely loved our glamping experience at Sibo’s place! The setup had everything we needed – just bring your food and clothes, and you’re all set. The stargazing was truly magical, and having a couple of provincial parks nearby made for great day trips. Thank you so much, Sibo, for providing such a compelling and comfortable escape. We’ll definitely be back!

Sitting Rock Point, 17 acre Glamping Retreat

DanielRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I booked this place for my girlfriend’s birthday celebration, it completely exceeded my expectation. The entire experience was like a 5 star hotel, Nancy is such a great cook so definitely get the dinner plan. This is what my gf had to say: We had such a memorable time at this gorgeous place! Nancy went above and beyond to make this experience unforgettable for us, she was very efficient and responsive, thoughtful and extremely kind, you can definitely tell when someone genuinely cares about your satisfaction and overall experience. The place is perfect, it has everything you could think of, it is also very spacious and in my opinion the photos don’t do it any justice as it is 1000% better in real life. We stayed 2 nights with our dog and he had so much fun as well, the lake is 10 minutes walking distance, and the sunsets are out of this world. If you like nature as much as we do and are looking to disconnect from the busy city this is your place. We will definitely be coming back

Cedar Campsite - Forest Stargazing Sanctuary

SamanthaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My husband and I had an amazing time at Camp Cedar! The site is secluded and we didn't see anyone else during the time we were there. We brought our dog as well and we had such a great time hiking the trails on property. I loved the outdoor kitchen, it really helped to make meal prepping and clean up much easier. Plenty of water was provided for our stay. The outhouse was clean and a nice addition to the campsite. We were really grateful for how much firewood was provided as we love to have fires throughout the day and night. Overall the stay was great and we would definitely come back again

Very great stay, would highly recommend to couples wanting to get away to a peaceful quiet place out in the middle of the beautiful nature. Kristina was a very great host as well and couldn’t have asked for anything better. She was right there if we needed her and we never saw anyone the whole weekend!

Fun 9-Person Tent with a View!

SamanthaRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We took 2 dogs for a weekend and had so much fun. The little forest was perfect for tossing a chair in and relaxing with a hot coffee, the dogs enjoyed exploring around the area as well and relaxing on the mat that was kindly provided to accommodate the dogs. The tent was roomy and held up well even in a storm, a provided potty and shower were handy as well. We enjoyed cookin over the fire that is nicely built and roomy enough to toss a blanket and look and the stars (an amazing view, don't let the surrounding nature distract you from the stars at night). There's also a pond right by the tent and there is many of toads, frogs, and crickets (bring bug spray to avoid pesky misquotes, try not to scream if you see a snake in the long grass). There's a little town not far, place for gas coffee and basic needs. A little further (15min) you can find a no frills, harware and Tims and more Thank you for making it for accommodating us to have an unforgettable weekend.

Glamping! Super Private 16' Bell Tent on 75 acres!

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great weekend in this Airbnb. It was our first time camping during winter. We apprehended the cold temperature (-16° at night), but it was actually warm and cosy inside the tent. Becky and Jason are really friendly and available if case of need. Thank you!
