Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ondarroa

Luis was an amazing host and the property was great. Luis gave us information on the area, took time to show me around and details of taxi firms and restaurants to eat at. Would recommend this villa to anyone wanting peace and quiet.

The house is better than in the photos, very spacious with enough rooms for a large group and very clean, also located very close to the sea and with views from one of the rooms. The garden with pool was also a pleasure, if we return to Bilbao we will definitely repeat

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. Rafa's house is perfect for spending a few days in the countryside. Clean, comfortable and tidy. Special mention to the bed that was super comfortable. Small and quiet village, but with a wide range of activities nearby or even walking from the house. I would definitely repeat!!

Very pretty place in the heart of old town near all of the best restaurants! You need internet to get into the airbnb when you arrive, and that was a shock as I didn’t have internet! Otherwise, it is a very spacious and lovely place.

We had a great time with the family three generations. The house is beautiful and very pleasant to live with others, and it was a pleasure to swim in the heated pool at the end of October. The scenery that surrounds the house is really spectacular. We don't get tired of rediscovering it every day depending on the weather. We leave regret this beautiful place. The apartment is fantastic. It is spacious with plenty of storage and amenities. It had a working washing machine with facilities to dry on the balcony - this was useful as we had been travelling beforehand. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t use, however, it looked clean and very inviting! The area is perfect. A lovely coastal walk nearby and a place to generally chill overlooking the sea. The host gave very clear photos and instructions of how to check in etc. The only slight negative would be the check in time, which was 5pm. I feel this is quite late in terms of other properties. We were able to check in around 4pm which helped.

A beautiful location perfect for a relaxing retreat, with a short drive to some incredible cities and parts of the world. Without doubt, I’d stay here again.

A magnificent place to get lost and get to know the area. Accommodation with all amenities, very complete and in detail. Juanjo and Carmen are the perfect hosts. Attention to make you feel comfortable but without invading intimacy. To repeat.
