Luis was an amazing host and the property was great. Luis gave us information on the area, took time to show me around and details of taxi firms and restaurants to eat at. Would recommend this villa to anyone wanting peace and quiet.

La casa es mejor que en las fotos, muy amplia con habitaciones suficientes para un grupo grande y muy limpia, además ubicada muy cerca del mar y con vistas desde una de las habitaciones. El jardín con piscina también un gusto, sin duda si volvemos a Bilbao repetiremos

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. La casa de Rafa es perfecta para pasar unos días en el campo. Limpia, cómoda y ordenada. Especial mención a la cama que era súper cómoda. Pueblo pequeño y tranquilo, pero con gran oferta de actividades cerca o incluso andando desde la casa. Repetiría sin duda!!

Very pretty place in the heart of old town near all of the best restaurants! You need internet to get into the airbnb when you arrive, and that was a shock as I didn’t have internet! Otherwise, it is a very spacious and lovely place.

Una estancia muy agradable. Estuvimos muy agusto. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y completo, tenía todo lo que necesitábamos. Y en una zona inmejorable, en el centro, pero sin ruidos. Lo recomendaríamos sin dudarlo.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à trois générations. La maison est magnifique et très agréable à vivre à plusieurs, et c'était un bonheur de se baigner dans la piscine chauffée fin octobre. Le paysage qui entoure la maison est vraiment spectaculaire. On ne se lasse pas de le redécouvrir tous les jours en fonction du temps. On quitte a regret ce très bel endroit. De belles balades à faire à pied autour de la maison et le Pays Basque, l'Espagne sont très accessibles en voiture. Merci à Sonia pour nos agréables échanges. Anne et sa famille

The apartment is fantastic. It is spacious with plenty of storage and amenities. It had a working washing machine with facilities to dry on the balcony - this was useful as we had been travelling beforehand. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t use, however, it looked clean and very inviting! The area is perfect. A lovely coastal walk nearby and a place to generally chill overlooking the sea. The host gave very clear photos and instructions of how to check in etc. The only slight negative would be the check in time, which was 5pm. I feel this is quite late in terms of other properties. We were able to check in around 4pm which helped.

A beautiful location perfect for a relaxing retreat, with a short drive to some incredible cities and parts of the world. Without doubt, I’d stay here again.

Una maravilla de casa con un jardín espectacular para disfrutar de las vistas y no moverse de alli en días. Muy tranquilo para ir en familia y muy cómoda la estancia.
