Fiona is an amazing host, always caring and thoughtful, with clear and helpful instructions that made everything super easy for us. The place itself is beautiful, tidy, and honestly even better than we expected. It was the perfect cozy stop for our road trip, and all four of us agreed: it deserves 6 out of 5 stars! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The only small note is that we couldn’t use the garage for parking, so we just parked right in front of the backdoor. Thank you so much, Fiona! Would definitely stay again ❤️

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place is located on a elevated spot above Whakatane with breathtaking views! Lorraine was extremely accommodating and making us feel like home! The place is very spacious with more than enough space for our group of six adults and two kids - they even had a kids toy box! Thank you!

What a stay! We absolutely loved our week, it was the perfect location for relaxing strolls along the beach and completely disconnecting from the world. The place was well appointed, had what we needed and was a pleasure to stay at. Bonus - the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!

Perfect - a delightful, spacious cottage in a beautiful garden. Everything you need and it was immaculate. A short walk into town and a short drive to gorgeous beaches. Gilbert and Sue couldn't have been better hosts and we'd 100% recommend here.

Very clean and spacious Kiwi Bach. Everything what you need is there. Walk to the beach about 4 min across the street. Free parking behind the Bach next to the entrance. Great Location to spend beach holidays. Janet has been a very communicative friendly host. Very helpful. We felt very comfy during our stay and would love to come back. Thank you for sharing your amazing property with me and my sister's middle earth gathering 😀 It was better than any 5 star hotels we've stayed in, super well appointed with heated bathroom tiles, tower racks, Japanese bidet, wonderful shower pressure... the kitchen appliances, herb and spices provided helped us cook some amazing local seafood... and we really appreciate the eggs, butter, milk, bread provided along with coffee pod machine helped us kick start our first breakfast. I only wished we had better weather as we didn't get to enjoy your outdoor setting with the firepit but I'll be sure to return when I visit North Island next... maybe in summer so we could enjoy the close proximity to the beach right outside your property. We all wish our home is as amazing as yours, well done and I'd give 10 stars if it were possible! cheers!
