Sweet, detached studio cottage located in the Capitol Campus neighborhood that's within walking distance to the capitol and downtown. Let yourself in with a keycode through the french doors to vaulted ceilings and an open, spacious, cozy feel. Basic kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker & mini-frig. Watch Netflix on the smart TV (or sign in and out of your personal apps). In addition, we installed a ductless mini-split heat pump/air conditioner for your comfort.

Fern's Cottage is a peaceful backyard urban oasis and conveniently located on Olympia's Westside. Walk, bike, bus, drive to Capital Campus, Farmer's Market, parks, restaurants, tap rooms and coffee roasters. Evergreen State College is 3 miles away. The 500 sq ft cottage has an open floor plan, kitchen, designated internet line, Roku TV, and W/D available. Easy self-check in, private entrance and off street parking surveilled by security camera. Full garden views, bright and modern secluded "guest house" 5 minutes off the highway and 10 minutes from the ferry in western Bremerton. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.

Easy to downtown Olympia, colleges, farmers market & I5. Nice home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula, Southwest Washington, ocean beaches, Mt. Rainier and Mt St. Helens. Take the train to Seattle or Portland for easy day trips. Enjoy! We do have a very friendly dog who will greet you.

The sprawling bathroom has heated floors, a 5 ft shower & a Samsung full size washer-dryer.
