Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Öland

We have had such an amazing week here. Henning and Gustav are very attentive hosts. the location is so memorable, perfectly peaceful and so beautiful. For us it was paradise and an antidote to our daily hectic lives. We certainly hope to return. I think although the photos are representative of this lovely house, they do not do it justice! It's gorgeous, inside and out. Thank you to all of you for making our stay with you so memorable.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche hier verbracht, es gab tatsächlich ein Bullerbü-Feeling. Das alte, schöne Haus ist süß eingerichtet, es ist sauber und herrlich gemütlich. Natürlich behandelt man so ein Kleinod mit Rücksicht. Die Kinder und wir konnten herumstreifen, viele Tiere und nicht zuletzt auch die nette Familie von Alexandra kennenlernen. Es war hoffentlich nicht das letzte Mal!

super schöne, idyllische und toll gelegene Unterkunft. Die Fotos schaffen es garnicht die tolle Stimmung des Hauses einzufangen. Sehr gute Lage um Ausflüge zu machen. Mit zum Haus gehört ein eigener Steg und ein Boot, die Sauna kann man, wenn man will, auch mitbenutzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt nochmal kommen. Sylvia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin.

We had a great time staying at Marion's cozy house. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. Within walking distance is a middle sized supermarket, the beach is not that far away and you can make a trip to Kalmar and Öland with your car. The communication with Marion was easy and friendly. :) Although it did not bother us, a little hint for those of you who get bothered by brightness in their sleeping room: There are no real curtains or blinds for the windows.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Ricos Haus in Småland. Die Kommunikation mit Rico war hervorragend; er hat immer schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus selbst hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt schön und der Garten mit Terrasse ist ein herrlicher Ort zum Entspannen. Besonders das geräumige Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer haben uns begeistert. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und die offene Küche bietet viel Platz. Zwei kleinere Punkte könnten noch verbessert werden: der nicht eingezäunte Garten, was mit kleinen Kindern praktischer wäre und gelegentliche Probleme mit der Dusche, die manchmal das Badezimmer leicht überschwemmt. Diese Kleinigkeiten beeinträchtigen jedoch nicht unser positives Gesamturteil. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Rico, für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

Vi havde nogle fantastiske dage på Skovslottet. Er fortryllende sted med et hav af muligheder for at koble fra og nyde den smukke natur. Boligen er intet mindre end utrolig. Hvert er værelse har unikke detaljer og man fornemmer, at det er bygget med kærlighed og har oplevet mange gode stunder. Jeg vil varmt anbefale dette sted og håber på at komme tilbage en dag. Tak for et legendarisk ophold.

We had a great stay here. Communications were well in advance of arrival. We even got a travel recommendation for where to stop in our way from Stockholm. We were met upon arrival and given a brief overview. It was a smooth check-in. The unit was top-shelf. Spotless. Fully equipped. Coffee ready to go in the machine. So many big TVs! The small deck was nice to sit outside on and chill. Beds were comfortable. Towels were fresh. Dedicated parking for a single vehicle was right next to the building. It was a very quick drive into town. There's a good $3/day lot by the train station. After paying through the nose for parking across Scandinavia, it was a nice change.

Vi hade superfina dagar i Byxelkrok. Huset är mysigt, rymligt och har allt man behöver. Läget är också bra, lugnt men ändå nära till det mesta.

Sehr zentral, sehr gut erreichbar, alles wie beschrieben und recht ordentlich. Für unseren Aufenthalt sehr geeignet.

Alles super und wie erwartet , gerne wieder .

Mycket rymlig lägenhet. Bra utrustad, rent och snyggt. Borde funka perfekt för en familj med två vuxna och 2 barn. Jag var ensam och uppskattade alla öppna ytor, det stora badrummet och TV-apparaten som också var rejäl. Enda problemet var att man precis fått en ny wifi-router och det tog ett tag innan jag fick internet att funka. Men Oscar svarade snabbt och kunde vägleda. Läget var perfekt, speciellt för mig som var på släktforskningsresa och skulle besöka gamla gårdar i Björkmossa!

Wat een geweldig huisje!! Erg gezellig ingericht, een echt Zweeds huisje! Bed ligt heerlijk. Prachtige grote tuin en heerlijk rustig! Een aanrader als je van rust houd.

We had great stay, our children were happy to can fish in so remote place, we were lucky to get two pikes by two boys and we enjoyed also sauna and make a fire. We were very happy there and wish to come again. Thanks a lot!

Vi tycker att platsen var fin, att huset levde upp till de högt ställda förväntningarna och att Pia var en utmärkt värd.

We had a wonderful two-week stay with our children. Communication with Jimmy was always quick and friendly, he lives just a few minutes away. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking during the two weeks. We slept in the downstairs bedroom with our two small children and added a small mattress. The highlights for our children were Jimmy's cows, which were grazing in the adjacent pasture during our stay. Additionally, you could walk about 10 minutes to a small beach where the children could play in the sand. The house is very quiet, with a large garden full of small animals, making it a great family vacation. At the same time, you can walk to Homsjö in a good half hour (or 5 minutes by car), where there is a well-stocked supermarket and a lovely café (Café Näckrosen). There is also a train to Karlskrona from there. So, if you are looking for peace and a nice holiday home and still want to make nice trips (with or without a car) we highly recommend Jimmys house! Tack!

We had an amazing time here! The cabin is basic but super cosy and natural and that was exactly what we were looking for. Even though it is quite close to the main house, we still felt that we had plenty of privacy. The surroundings are great too. Rafaella and Simon are the most beautiful, hardworking people and we enjoyed learning about their way of living and the meaningful conversations we had around the fire. Our batteries are recharged, we will be back!

Vi hade en toppenvecka i Olofs fina hus. Sköna sängar, härlig altan, snygg och fräsch inredning. Kubb och frisbee finns om du vill sysselsätta dig på gräsmattan. Ca 150 meter bort ligger en fantastisk fin stenstrand där du från stenplatåer kan hoppa ner i ett rent och klart hav. Tips är att ta med badrock, lite mysigt att gå ner till havet i den. Jag kan absolut rekommendera detta boende.

Mycket fin stuga med stilsäker inredning som låg magiskt i landskapet med bärskog inpå knuten och vacker utsikt mot vattnet. Jens var en väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående värd! Kan varmt rekommendera!

Supertrevligt och mysigt boende med allt man kan behöva, naturnära och avskilt läge med en supertrevlig värd - rekommenderas! Tack Patrik!
