Waterfront vacation rentals in Okrug Gornji

Myself and my husband stayed for 7 nights. We arrived late at night..11.30 pm. and Vedran's son kindly waited and met us at the Church of St. Francis and escorted us to the apartment and showed us how aircon, hot water etc worked. The apartment was exactly as photographed. Lovely big comfortable bed, lots of hot water for showers and sufficiently kitted out kitchen. Beautiful views of Split harbour. Very close to old town and also some lovely little restaurants nearby...try Buffet Fife (worth queueing for) - good varied menu and food and drink reasonably priced compared to other places in Split which can be a bit pricey. No. 12 bus stop close by which goes to Kasjuni and Bene beaches. Check out Promet App for public transport. Also 10 min walk down the Promenade - Riva - for ferries to islands. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Split.

We had a lovely stay at Tonko’s place. The studio is peaceful, welcoming and in a very nice location. The place was clean and we had everything that we needed. We highly recommend this place! Tonko was very nice and helpful to us, he gave us plenty of recommendations regarding Trogir.

Such a beautiful location. Definitely a walkable area with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The balcony has a lovely view of the water. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location close to the ferry terminal and old town! Perfect for our stay & free street parking was a great bonus!

Wow! This place has it all! Looks, location and space! Vedran was so kind to meet us at the apartment and show us where everything was. Yes..it's about 5 flights up (like 94 steps) but the view was soooo worth it! You have a million dollar view out on the balcony. He had a nice king bed with plenty of closet space in the room. Nice size living room with tv and great kitchen with everything you need. The shower was spacious and had plenty of hot water. He even left a couple bottles of wine and beers in the fridge for us! The apartment is on the harbor side of the marina with a Konzum (grocery) right at the bottom of his place and great restaurants everywhere. No need for uber! We would rent from him again in a heart beat!

Great location, amazing harbor and islands view from the patio, very walkable to many restaurants and ~20 minute walk into the historic district which you can walk along the beach or a bit more direct along streets. Easy, short walks to multiple beaches both up and down the coast...providing options for quiet beaches or those with restaurants/bars, and activities. Very clean, comfortable, and with a private parking spot. Katarina our Host was proactive with meeting us at check-in, providing local advice and checking up to be sure everything was well...which is was! For a stay in Split, 100% would stay again!!

A lovely, clean apartment just outside of the city centre - good transport options with ferry/bus/airport transfer so close by and some lovely beaches around the corner. Diana was very responsive and very helpful with recommendations. Would highly recommend!

nice little house and the pool is very good. All necessary toiletries, kitchen and linen are included. Kristian the son is very responsive and very kind. The house is next to a river. Shops nearby.

Great location to get to Split but also be away from it! Beach and lots of restaurants very close.

We had the most amazing time staying at House Petra! The location was even better than we could have imagined, with a beautiful waterfront path leading you on a 5 minute walk to Trogir, where there was so much to see! Toni was an incredible host, helping us with local recommendations and the house was even better than the listing said! Toni made us feel right at home and we will definitely be visiting House Petar again as soon as possible! Toni went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful that he made our holiday so wonderful! Thank you so much again, we just loved it!!!

Wonderful stay right by the sea! We really enjoyed our stay in this house! We received a very warm welcome on arrival. We immediately felt welcome. Dado, the father of the family, greeted us with a culinary surprise and let us taste his incredibly good olive oil. The location is truly unique: right by the water, with a wonderful view from the balcony and from the house's separated terrace on the other side of the street. We always had breakfast and dinner there. A few steps lead directly down to the rocky jetty, from where you can swim in the crystal-clear sea. The bay of Stomorska is just a five-minute walk away. The village is really pretty, had a small well-stocked supermarket (with fresh bread/rolls) open in mid-April and a nice little cafe/bar. We really enjoyed our stay as a family, it was a great vacation for us in a very special location and with a very nice landlord. We can only warmly recommend the stay!

The house of Bruna in Vinisce impresses with its charm of the location, the view, the grandiose furnishings, which is incredibly stylish and individual. A place to slow down and switch off all daily topics. With a little luck, Adriadelphine can be seen swimming through the bay. We thank Bruna for all the amenities we were allowed to experience.

The apartment is located in a very peaceful and calm neighborhood and next to the beach, and close to the forest. Unfortunately, there is no shops near the apartment. When we arrived everything was clean and consistent with the description.

A great place, clean place with an exceptional view with tranquility, the street does not disturb the guests on the way to the dining place. The view inspires tranquility...you can enjoy swimming if you even want to jump into the water, by the sea there is a promenade that guests can walk quietly. We had a great stay, we were 6 adults and had a great time. I recommend this location with the utmost confidence.

Antonela was great! I didn’t get to meet her in person just because of schedules but I did meet her son and he was great too. The location couldn’t be better and there is plenty of room in the flat to be more than comfortable. She was very communicative and had the inside scoop on things in split. I definitely would stay again for sure. I really enjoyed the place and her hospitality!

We stayed with Adrienn for 5 days, and had the best time. She organised a transfer for us to and from the airport which worked a dream. We arrived earlier than checkin and were able to get straight into the property. The studio is quiet, clean and most importantly has a great AC! It was a haven after a long day in the sun. We were able to use the villas sun loungers which was very helpful. We very much enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace, which made up for not having a balcony. The beach is less than 2 mins walk, as are a host of very good restaurants (Leonardo, great value for money). The location is great for exploring, we hired a scooter and many other beaches were less than 10mins away (Labadusa, Kava, Duga). We will definitely visit Adrienn again with no hesitation. Thank you! The apartment is a short walk into the heart of the old town in Split with a great view out onto the Adriatic. It is a good size space for 3/4 people with everything you could need. Klajdi was a great host. *Outside of the apartment is a construction site but this did not take away from the view nor did it impact our stay greatly.

Ante and Linda's place felt like a home away from home. They are both friendly, fantastic and very accomodating hosts, the apartment is very good, short walk from the old town, and in a nice neighbourhood with a lovely sight of the sea. We will be recommending this place to our friends and would 100% it recommend to people reading this review.

We had a wonderful holiday at Josipa's place. She is a very good host and always eager to meet all expectations. She is always available and immediately helps with any problems and requests. The location of the apartment is great, you walk across the street and you are already by the sea. A terrace where you can sit wonderfully and enjoy the view of the sea is included. Very close are a bistro ( Val), which we highly recommend and a bit further there are different shopping opportunities in both directions. In the apartment is everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, only 1 room is a little clairvoyant... to the nearest neighbors. Everything else is great.

This apartment was really a surprise! The apartment was really a lovely place to stay. To say it was spotless is an understatement - it was so clean that it looked like we were the first guests to stay there. The view was fabulous and exactly as the photographs showed. It overlooked the harbor, giving an extra treat of sunrises and sunsets. It even had it's own small balcony. Although I was never able to meet our host Toni, he was very quick to answer all my texts! He even offered to meet us at the apartment late in the evening to assist me in getting settled. Talk about above and beyond! Anybody lucky enough to rent this apartment will not be disappointed! Thank you Toni for making my stay the best of a 3 week trip! You deserve 10 stars in all review categories!!!

I stayed for a month in April and had a lovely experience. Beautiful place in a peaceful village. It’s less touristy than some of the other Kaštelas and the family were Brilliant hosts. Sunday dinners was probably the best surprise!

Extremely helpful host - always responds very quickly. Very clean and everything as specified. You can reach the city and the harbor very easily on foot. The parking situation is tense, but we have always found one... there is free parking around the property. The kitchenette is very small, but has everything you need. We were also able to cook a little something. There is a very large refrigerator and also a freezer. You can often hear the residents stomping from above and also the noise from the street, but that was not a problem for us and especially for our 1.5-year-old daughter when sleeping. A third stool/chair might be a valuable addition. Furnishings and decoration were very tasteful - we were very excited and would come back.
