Monthly Rentals in Oki Island

This place is pure magic. The house is wonderfully comfortable and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful. Yumie, Harufumi, and family made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, and their warmth and hospitality stays with us now after having left. We cannot wait to return to their heavenly spot in the countryside.

It was very clean and organized, and I had a comfortable stay. There were plenty of amenities, and I enjoyed it so much that one night wasn't enough. Unfortunately, it was raining, but the roof of the terrace was large, so 7 of us were able to have a BBQ without getting wet. There is also a convenience store within walking distance, so shopping was smooth. We'd love to stay again if we get the chance!

The host was super nice, responsive to email. Met us at the property to show us how to operate the door lock. The property was a short walk from Higashiyama station and a short walk to a few bus routes. Nice quiet neighborhood, right next to a small river. The place was immaculate, it had everything you needed, the little garden was delightful, beds comfortable, and the bathroom although out of the way on the ground floor has a really nice bath and good shower. The washing machine was handy to wash clothes and plenty of hangers were provided to help dry the clothes. We used the kitchen when we found a great butchers and bought a lot of different cuts of beef to try. Along with the small supermarket a short walk away we had a couple of great dinners. 100% would stay here again.
